This started off as simply just some thoughts.....
Have you ever looked at someone and just saw their beauty ….the way they smile… how their eyes seem to twinkle …. How that gave you such a thrill
Have you ever just marvel at someone’s sight and wish time stood still
Have you ever just stared at their hands how strong and powerful they look while they held yours
How the simplest gesture they would make … just made your heart soar
Have you ever heard music with the sound of their laughter
That you still hear it in your head the morning after
Have you ever just loved the way they would kiss …hands holding your face
How that kiss just lingered on your lips and you still felt their embrace
Have you ever just simply loved just sitting in silence not needing to speak
Just the idea that there is nothing in the world you two need or seek
Have you ever felt so helplessly addicted that they are the only drug you crave
With just a hit you’re on another high that you’re just left in a daze
Yet you may know this is not yours to hold you know you’re on borrowed time
You know soon they will be gone from your life, but right now all you can think is that they are mine
Have you ever closed your eyes and sent a wish to the heavens up above
That this moment will be frozen in time and that they’ll be forever yours to hold, to touch, to kiss, and to love
That the only thing that is true is just the two of you staying entwined like this
Laying there side by side in heavenly bliss
