Naya,
Unfortunately it would sell cause of the negativity as you guys already mentioned. It's sad because we try to do something positive
and some don't recognize that. Any one can be curious to read this book just to see what they are writing but, the question is will they
read the book and continue to buy the music? or will they stick around the negativity and keep putting the music down.

I feel you Ayna. good point you bring up.

now email Jack so you get access to the VELVET ROOM! it's for artist and producers..lol

I think a book like that would be put on the shelf in the drama section of a bookstore. People always buy drama because it is everywhere today.(TV, MOVIES, CARTOONS, VIDEO GAMES, ETC.)This is what the kids today are raised on. Everything is about drama today.
The first question usually asked is WHAT HAPPENED or WHO DIED.
I think if a book on FREESTYLE can't show the good then it would probably do more harm than good for our music. We are already struggling to brink it back to its' glory days when all you heard was freestyle and some house on the radio and in the clubs. Rap used to be in the position we are now and everything runs a cycle so it is our turn again. Enough with the drama, let's listen to freestyle and have fun.

I was having a discussion with a very well known DJ, you know just shootin the shit, when he said "I bet if someone wrote a book about freestyle artists and all it's negativity, it would sell more than any well known artists new CD"

Lol, it's a pleasure shootin the shit with ya too sweetie 😉
I have many friends and fans but there are a few in this biz that I truly love and respect, you are without a doubt one of them. *besos*

My 2 cents:

With all this bullshit drama on all these sites makes me wonder:
If all the energy & time used to dis and hate the genre was used positively and directly for promoting Freestyle only, MAN, FREESTYLE WOULD BE WHERE IT SHOULD BE !!!!
Think about it and go to your favorite site and look at all the threads and notice this:

(These are just PRETEND threads, but you'll get the picture)

Answer:
YES, THE BOOK WOULD BE A HUGE SELLER!!!!!!

We have been dealing with the most ridiculous sh*t since our show started 2 years ago. Right now, I'm dealing with an attorney for some bullsh*t thats presently happening.
Is it worth it? Sometimes, I really don't know...

Regardless, for now, we will continue to do what we do every week.
Give out freebies, artist interview, & play the best damn Frestyle on our live mix show.

Peace,
DJ Paradise

i dont thinmnk there is a think called bad music just because some one likes it does it make it bad? i see lists or threads on here asking whos the best what ever" vocals beats lyrics acts live
all artists in music brings something different to the table yes we can compare because they are different

maybe with a book some people will start listening to freestyle again. negativity stirs curiousity!!

It might create some HYPE which could be good or bad.
We will never know until we cross that bridge together.
We already started building that bridge without realizing it.
I'll do my part for the business.
I'll always stay true to FREESTYLE!

IF WE MAKE ENOUGH NOISE , SOMEBODY WILL HEAR US !!!!!!!!!!!!!!😀

So I guess Freestyle artist would never attempt to perform at the Apollo because there, if you suck, they will Boo you to death. It has been a proven method for years and not everyone dares to go on the Apollo. Think of all the people who have performed there over the many years. A lot of Mega Stars came from the Apollo. I don't think anything could hurt Freestyle more than it is already hurt. It needs some sort of radical and crazy idea to make the masses sit up and take notice. I don't want to hurt anyones feelings, but I feel that if Artist that aren't doing much nowadays knew a head of time what people truly like and don't like I feel that they would've been able to better see where their careers were going and make changes according. Nya, I hear you. You don't want negative remarks on post, but I feel that you aren't doing Freestyle justice at all. Even a thread that is highly monitored and restricted can help. It called constructive critisim for a reason. I think we should try it!

I sitback, check out the forums here, read what people are saying about freestyle and yet people are still MAJORING IN THE MINORS. I wouldn't buy the book if there was one, because it serves no purpose at all. I listen to music called freestyle(mostly old school) because I like it. I am not going to come here and bash anyones music because there is no reason too. I am so sick and tired of the bashing of freestyle music new or old school.

If you like freestyle, listen to it, if you don't like freestyle, than don't waste your time listening too it. I guess you could say the same thing about other types of music, RIGHT!!!!

Touch much negative people, its only going to make you freakin depressed. I suggest you throw in a Freestyle CD and dance your misery away!

Great words Skoza😉 thank you.

I just bought a Beginners Dj system that I am playing at home for the kids and neighbors. Guess what music is pumping out of those speakers???

I'm originally from Miami and grew up on Freestyle but I have been living in Freestyle exhile for 4 years now in the DC area... I don't think a book about bashing Freestyle would work here. Seems people here think Freestyle has something to with skateboarding and what not

Bashing folks, nah..... If it was a cook book, then I am all for it..
I can always use some recipes for the kitchen LOLOL

But - I agree with Skoza, if ya don't wanna listen to it DON'T..

I don't think people should compromise their tastes or opinions or be made to, but there is always tact (sometimes lack of) involved and it ain't right to down the ones working their asses off for what we all love..

I wouldn't buy the book either if it promotes hostility and hurt feelings.. 🙂

Hey Skoza great words and good luck with your new hobby!

Thanks bro, I need headphones, an amp, wireless mic, better speakers, this is not a cheap hobby bro!! But I love the freestyle loud!

Drammmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lmfaaaaooooooooo Naya good question girl I bet you know hat I am thinking. Me personally would not purchase such an item I have learned a lotttttttt about the industry both negative and positive and not just within Freestyle although I must say it has been the most interesting thank you to those who shared there massive wisdom and years of experiences and storys with me love you all 😉 lol. On the real though the book would sell faster then ANY freestlye album to hit the record stores, why drama sells, people are nosey by nature. Paradise (hi sweetie) made a very good point look on the various Freestyle sites take notice of the topics of threads and how many people either view them or post up in them. What I found funny up in here is for the young lady who suggested someone start a thread discussing what they dont like about artist and there music I have to respond to that suggestion cause it just blew me the f... away on how ignorant that was. For the most part this site has tried to be a postive element in providing artist, producers, fans etc with information on artist shows etc.... all the good shit as well as other sites try to do. As I just said in a thread I posted in Freestyle as is is barely kept alive for obvious reasons known to us all. To ad fuel to a the fire and suggest we actully sit here and tell an artist what we like and dont and actually think it will be benefitual to the industry or artist in some way is funny as hell, because many of those artist many would sit up here and talk about and give suggestions to are well out of the game and have moved on to other things. Constructive critisism is one thing we have done that in various threads but thats what they have been constructive critisism, in no way is telling someone anyone let alone an artist what we like an dont like about there music or there persona considered constructive if you dont like them or there songs simple dont listen to it no need to talk shit about it keep it moving. Constructive critisism is based on suggestions, opinions, not on basicaly bashing an artist because the minute you commence to tell someone what you dont like about them or there hard work your attacking there character in turn bashing them not giving "constructive Critisism" Stay Blessed.

HOT DAMN! and she did it again. see what happens when you go on vacation?..lolol
