I don't know what to do. My son is going to be 6 yrs old this Thursday, the 19th and I don't know if I should have a little party with family and friends on Saturday or take him out. I'm clueless. :confused Any ideas. I like the idea of parties in the house because if he gets tired, he can just go to bed and we can keep the party going. 😀

Help!!!! Give me your idea. Paaaaaaa-leeeease. :nutz

Theme it around his favorite show. Spiderman, or hulk, or Sesame Street, or whatever.

get matching tableclothes, plates, napkins, and cake. Crepe paper streamers and balloons to match the colors on the plates and napkins.

If there is a dvd or video of that show, let the kids watch it.

Hi there..

Well, honesty if you haven't had a birthday party him then i suggest you throw him a birthday party with family and friends and take lots of pics and do a them like Chuck suggested. If your not up to entertaining and cleaning up then take him somewhere he can be a kid and have a blast..whatever it is i am sure he will have fun!!:silly

throw the party...:heee... when the kids get tired... let them go to sleep and the adults keep patrying... 😀

Chuckie Cheese! You can do a two hour party. It's over before you know it and you can be done with all those kids (haha).

I used to do big, big parties for my daughter. My last big one we rented a pavilion by the lake for the day. That was nice, there were rowboats, a playground, swimming, grills. There was a $160 cake, then there were the steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, veggie packs, tamales, etc,.... Don't forget the goody bags, the piñata, the drinks..It came to between $700-$800. I was too busy hosting and trying to serve food, my daughter had almost no attention. By the time it came for presents people were just too tired and went home. Afterwards I asked her how she liked her party and she said "Well all the people liked it." Since then, we've had it at the Chinese buffet and then take-out at home, she picks who comes. Near my house they have a pizza place that does combos of 2lrge pies a doz buffalo wings, a dozen garlic knots and 2ltrs soda for $20. Now her parties go for less than $100 and she has all the attention she wants.
