I don't know who Esme is, but I listened to the audio sample, and it sounds similar to Connie's version.

It's surprising to see the Julio song (track #15) was included on this CD.

I think its a good mix of freestyle but I honestly think "time after time" was a bad choic.

Oh well...I will buy it anyway 😉

No, I won't be mixing this cd. Lets just say that DMA and I had a "miscommunication". But Tim Spinnin Schomer will be mixing this cd, so its worth buying just for that reason. He's da man !

For those of you that say 'I got all those songs already, I'm not buying it". Well, what songs would you like on it ?!? Believe me, if DMA was to pin point just the hardcore freestyle fans and put 15 rare freestyle songs on it, they wouldn't sell that many cd's. Think about it, how many hardcore fans like ourselves are there? A few thousand ??? Thats it.

I'm coming out with a few mixed freestyle cd's in the very near future. Believe me, we did alot of research. If I was to put nothing but rare freestyle tracks on it, the only people that will buy it are you HARDCORE fans. We'd end up losing $$. I am however, also releasing a cd with all newer freestyle tracks from the past few years. I guarantee you it won't sell near as much as my cd with the old school gems.

I give credit to DMA for the song selection. Very diverse. They didn't put too many standard tracks on it, nor did they scare away the average fan with a bunch of songs they never heard. Its a great selection of songs in my opinion.
 
Damn

I just realized this is a mixed CD, so I won't be buying it. For a minute there, I thought this would be a non-mixed CD compilation, with the songs recorded in their entirety. Tim Schommer does some good mixing, but that's not enough incentive for me to spend $18 on this CD.

I'll but it just to have it. Most of the songs I alreday have but Tim is a good mixer and he makes songs sound good with his mixing. Besides, it's supporting freestyle......peace
 
Wow I didn't see this thread...I just got this CD today...Tim "Spinnin" Schommer did it again...this mix is pretty good...They also gave a special shoutout to Jack G and Johnny Budz 🙂
