"Little" Louie Vega has retired from the freestyle scene for years now. He is still in my opinion the greatest of all time. His mixes were always on beat and he always played the phattest shit. From The Devils Nest to Heartthrobs; I could go on and on. Those were the true freestyle days. Now he's spinning house with Tony Humphries "Magic Sessions" and that's the shit also so when you all get a chance check it out cause you'll be dancing your asses off all night long.

I have heard all the Dj's peeps mentioned above from the NYC area and I have to say that all were good a one time or another. But by far the best were:

Latin Rascals...their mixes on KTU back in the days were off the hook
Omar Santana.......NO one alive could rock three turntables at once like him. I'll bet any money on it.
Little LOuie.....From heartthrobs to Roseland....he rocked shit no one else had.
Juan Kato..... I've seen this man rock a crowd of 3000 to a frenzy in Lamour East on a regular.
