Like I said before. "Little" Louie Vega the greatest of all time. He broke almost all of the freestyle records in the clubs. Hey New Yorkers, can I get a holla on that ??

I listened to Tommy Nappy's KTU freestyle mix last night. He played 4 songs in a half hour.

How can you say mixing on the radio is no diff than in a club? It is cause think of it, there's commercials, radio plugas, etc etc. In a club, you don't have that. And as I said in a previous post, I never said he was the be all end all of dj's. But he is a very good friend of mine, and I've heard him off radio and he is good.

How about Bad Boy Joe??? I love his freestyle cds and the mixes he occasionally does on KTU are great!!! Im also big fans of Johnny Budz, Tommy Nappi, and of course, all the greats like Little Louie Vega, Glenn Frischia, etc, etc.

Randi (FreestyleGal)

I remember Scott Blackwell. He used to spin at 4D!

Yeah... Frankie "Hollywood" Rodriquez mixes freestyle. He had a myraid of "hot mixes" in hearthrob and house. I have a few tapes from him. If you listen to them I'll make copies. I don't know what ever happened to him.... or the rest of the "Hot Mix 5" DJs......

Frankie mixes freestyle???😕 i didnt know that

I got to go with Glenn Friscia. I got a great tape from 91 when he was mixing the hot97 saturday night mix show, don't remember the name of the club. What happened to him?

Mario "smokin" diaz is still mixing for parties, weddings etc. I think. Ralph "the Raz" Rosario no clue. Mickey "Mixin" Oliver is on WGCI, 107.5. Frankie "Hollywood" Rodrigez probably mixed freestyle and house, just like Bad Boy BIll and Julian Jumpin Perez back then.

DJ PARADISE!!!!!..Want me to put it in BIGGER letters??..LMFAO!! I love him and only wished he played on the radio.

But on the radio..I say Tommy Nappi..actually..I love them all..They play Freestyle right? why be picky??..LMFAO

Yep! I remember going to Hearthrobs (28th street?) and hearing him spin songs that would come out on the radio few months later.
