I have to say for new school, I love Synthia Figueroa, Christina Marie.

Oh and this one. Julissa. Her song "I Must Go On" for the freestyle version, kinda drowns her voice out. I got Galaxy Freestyle Vol. 3, and there is a ballad version, her voice sounds sooo pretty.

Though there are many talented voices in freestyle, I vote for India. Back when I bought her Breaking Night lp on cassette, i had only heard her Dancing on the Fire and I was just blown away. Wow, this girl can sing, i thought. I've got all her salsa cds. I wish she'd come back and do more freestyle.......maybe do all her freestyle hits in spanish (other than Bailando en el Fuego)......hmm a freestyle duet with Marc Anthony. Antbody who's heard Vivir Lo Nuestro knows how beautiful their voices go together.

Why does Gioia (when she does her show) sing "Come Go With Me", "Let Me Be the One", "Point Of No Return", and her new stuff???

Tell Gioia she needs to drop "Come Go With Me", and add "What You Don't Know". I like that song better anyway! 😉

Oh she kills that song without a doubt! Those vocals go far and beyond. She's one of my favorite.

But then Nyasia does the same with hers, Nayobe does the same with hers, Chrissy I-eece used to kill her, and it goes on.............

Too much talent to simply choose. Why can't we just vote for all of them? 🙂

These are power singers. Give them the mike and they will blow out the system. One BIG plus is that all of the above sing LIVE, ya heard?!?!? LIVE. No need to rely on the vocals on the CD or reel to reel to sound AWESOME! I have seen almost every female freestyle singer live and these take the cake. I'm sure there are more but these come to mind immedeately. New female vocalist that are just as good or can be as these Diva Legends:
