I settled for Verizon because they have more coverage throughout the US. Needed it just incase I ended up at NTC California like I did back in Jan 2003. I had reception and those who didn't have Verizon had nothing!!

As for a type of phone, it didn't matter to me as long as it was durable. In the field, things tend to get broken. Not to mention during the winter, plastic up here in FT Drum has a lower tolerance for stress. (AS IF!!!)

I like the flip phones though cause I get to do my CPT Kirk impersonations.

what is the best cell phone to get i have problems with sprint i just sent mine back and the one they sent me never worked so i think sprint needs help because they dont work good so if anyone know of a good cell phone compney let me know .
