just for the record (i didnt go to invasion 3 and cared little about it at the time) but i heard benny benassi never showed up to invasion & ppl are worrying the same about groove coverage for the rush since on their website (www.groove-coverage.de) they apparently mention a city other than toronto around the day of the summer rush and they're on tour in europe throughout august
and that'd suck if groove coverage doesnt end up coming here

im feelin lazy & dont wanna check 4 myself so just makin sure, did benny ever show up here in november as advertised
 
Every 103 event I have been to in the past always has a no show...
 
And I was at Invasion 3 but I can't remember if Benny B showed up...I think they did...Chica???
 
I went over this on Tony's Board...Another site stated that Benny B did not show up for the invasion party. The Live Act was there...so now everyone is going around saying that Groove Coverage isn't coming too, because of their web updates...If you are so worried then email them yourself.
I saw the airline booking, they are coming to the Rush.

Benny Benassi the dj was never promoted. His live studio act show is called Benny Benassi Live. He also has Benassi Bros and Benny Benassi presents the biz.

All I have to say is..believe what you want...if you want to go to the rush purchase a ticket, if not..stay home :sadsmile
 
well from what i know so far groove coverage wont have their producer coming.. as for the singer.. she seems to be coming

as for benny b.. well there ya go... he didnt show... his 'live' performance people did...

u saw the airline booking elissa? great news. well as long as the airline groove coverage is using doesn't go on strike or something like with johnny o during the invasion a couple years back when canada 3000 went bust on him that weekend.

FYI Tran Johnny O did appear at the invasion 3 years back...and was AMAZING you are reffering to Noel...he was the no show

Im glad some of you are reading the interviews yes groove coverage will be there but not the dj only the vocalist (mel) we never said anything about them not being there people just assumed it.

i remember monaco was shouting out Euroman at the invasion and at the clubs cos yeah He was a HUGE supporter of z103 and the Frenzy... now he kicks him out?

and look at that... benassi's website now has the interview... so obviously it wasnt faked.

I am Benny’s manager for the world.
Regarding the fake act in Toronto, all I know is that Benny’s live act called THE BIZ has never performed in Canada. Therefore if someone performed purporting to be the Benny Benassi Live Act or The Biz, they were fake. I have heard several reports about this performance in Toronto so I presume it happened.
Unfortunately the world is full of unscrupulous people and the entertainment business is no exception.

Have you stopped to think that maybe the promoters of the invasion got fooled. Maybe they did book Benny B and their people sent someone else. I was there and the two artists performing as Benny B, could hardly speak a word of English. Maybe they were fooling everyone.
Also, I read the post referring to Elissa calling the interview fake. She wasn't saying it was definetly fake, she was saying that what if it was, how would anyone know. Honest question. From the way I read it, she wasn't accusing anyone of anything.
And I have no idea why you are attacking her for someone elses actions (monaco and her manager) regarding Euroman.
 
i dont think they were attacking Elissa... from what I see they feel like they're been accused of making up a fake interview... and now htey got a prrof because that interview is on Benassi's website...

I agree that Elissa had nothing to do with this... but people that have, act very rude when it's obvious that they're wrong.
 
Either way it ain't fake...and whoever was sent wasn't sent by the Benassi management team...so wouldn't 103 know something was up...come on they've been putting on shows for years...dozens of artists they've dealt with over years wouldn't they know the fake

now come on , lets think logically here. i think all of the indivduals involved in bookin whoever they did knew what they were gettin what they paid for. now look at the the big big big picture here. there r emails to prove this was not the real biz and the interveiw is on benny b site. i dont think excuses should b e made for those who were involved. i think they fully well knew who the real biz was, i dont think ne one was left in the dark at all
