Hi Fellas,
I heard this song only a few times back in '86-'87. The only information I have is the name of the song and some info on the singer back but I don't know the name he carried back then. The artist is the guy from C&C music factory....but before he joined them. The song is called " Get DumB ". Do anyone remember this? The song wasn't really in a freestyle format but it appealed to all freestylers like wise...Anyhow's look foward to everyone's input.

I remember that song, I still use it when I mix. The song is "Get Dumb"
by "The Crew". The guy you mean is David Clivilles of C&C music factory.
It's got that old house beat.

Now, to find it somewhere.....
So far, I've only found copies in England and in Scotland.
Worst comes to worst, I may shell out the shipping for it.......

one of my faves of all time!!!!!!!!!!! couldn't have been '86 / '87 more like '89 / '90..... It can be found on the flipside of Seduction's "Heartbeat"..... I think I might have 2 copies on vinyl..... :drool

I have the vinyl on vedetta records 1989
The 1990 release of Heartbeat has it on the flip side and its called
"Free your body (it's time to get hip house)
what a sick bassline !!!!!
I'll try to dig up the vinyl and record it

Thanks for the reply. Right now, I'm on my hands and knees praying & hoping you'll have luck and be able to record it. I can't tell you how long it's been....since I jammed that song..For me it was my high school graduation in '89. Believe it or not as I get older, I'm wanting to pick up those hard to get songs that have stuck in my mind over the years. I can return the favor.... if there's anything I'm able to provide for you. Let me know what you come up with.....

:nah I'll check to see if I have triples of it then maybe....... but u should be able to find it on ebay or in any record store........ good luck!!!!!!!! 🙂
