I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase "Be careful what you ask for...." right? Has this phrase ever referred to you in anyway?

It has for me. I remember when my hair was thick and I used to say "I wish my hair was thinner." Well low and behold my hair has thinnned out due to stress. :realsad Now "I wish it was thick again." :smirk

What can you remember wishing for that you perhaps regret today?

I am sooo a believer in this...I wished that I would be with my boyfriend (my ex-husband) forever... I was obsessed...now I wish I could get rid of him and get him out of my life. I am very careful what I wish for now...LOL

well when me & my ex were together i wished so bad we could live together & when we did he ended up getting on my last nerve & i wished we never lived together cause in the end it ruined our relationship...🙁 Oh well...

Lamondfan and Baby1010.. ladies the same thing happened to me.. I was wishing that my sons father and I would get together under the same roof and live as a family.. I mean it was what I thought I wanted more then anything at that time.. and I felt so victorious when he finally did... Only to eventually find that it was the WORST thing that could have happened. He wasn't cooperative, very old fashioned, wouldn't compromise, and was judgemental. When I asked him to finally leave, I said those exact words to myself.. be careful what you ask for cause you just may get it.. now I ask for peace of mind..
