When you go to the shelter the food is prepared. Its not half made or just thrown together. Though its free...its presented in eatable fashion.
This presentation of NEW SCHOOL Freestyle WAS NOT!!! Just because its free...It can't be presented in good form? Look you want to support something made half ass [because of a deadline!] then go ahead. New School Freestyle is NOT just a bonus disc. It was its first shot...HALF BAKED!
 
AKT, do you know CPR. LOL Marketing strategies. That's what this free cd is all bout. If you want to put out a product and want to test the waters to see the response, you tease the people with a free sample of it to monitor the reaction. The people involved with the Bad Boy Joe cd are clever in the way they market upcoming projects, and I have a feeling they want to put out a NewSchool freestyle Megamix cd. So why would you give it out for free? Test the waters first and give people a taste through a similar, more recognized product of what people can get in a new product. Some people just want everything for free and if they don't get what they want the way they want it, they get really upset. Unfortunately, "Life's Not That Easy." Some people use other strategies besides just being plain old contraversial to sell their product. Mad props to Bad Boy Joe and everyone involved with the production of this cd for representin freestyle, old and new. This is just a taste of what is yet to come.

CD-R or not..it's well woth the $15 ..and i've gotten absolutely no complaints so far by it's contents...unfortunately, thers are some folks that put out music that would rather look good than sound good..(and their stuff is pressed)...a waiste of audio media if ya ask me..lol..(the funny thing is..they really think they sound good)..lol..oh well ya cant please everybody!!

AKT, if the cd-r's are good sounding enough to play on the air and claim the top 3 spots in a top ten then i think it's safe to say they're good enough to package and sell.

I picked up my copy on the 18th and I enjoyed it very much. I really enjoyed tracks #2,3, and 6 of the new school tracks. I give bad boy joe mad props for doing his best to keep freestyle music alive which is the reason why we are all here. Lets forget all the negative stuff and support the music we love. Freestyle forever :yeey
 
By far, pt. 3 is better than the first 2. I only bought pt.1 and felt it wasn't all that. pt.2 I didnt bother buying. I heard it and didnt like the mix. Part 3 was good. Especially the bonus cd. Although I dont think some artists listed on that bonus cd are 'new school' since they have been in the game for a while now. Like Tony Moran, Aby. but I'm happy with the cd above all. the bonus cd shows how good these artists are and the songs are great. I'm glad two w/o hats were thrown in there along with 'planet rock'. If only Joe wouldve mixed 'Planet' w/ 'Play at ur own risk' that would've kickt ass!!

It would be you to turn a Bad Boy Joe thread into a promotional tool for your De-evolution of Dance. How can you call it an evolution if the material sounds like the same thing you did 5 years ago?

Yeah! You pressed your cd... on a high quality cd-r. As for the top 3; Maybe it was the artist and not your music.

As for Edwin Ramos Jr's. cd, I got my copy yesterday. I was very impressed by the music and the quality.

well from reading all this I gotta agree to one thing.... NEW SCHOOL is not being advertised as OLD SCHOOL was and still is... we gotta step out of the 80's zone and enjoy and welcome the new comers... if what AKT says is true that the mixing of OLD SCHOOL was more tastfully done than the mixing of the NEW SCHOOL, people will not get the good impression of NU SKUL, know what I'm saying?

I was an all hardcore OL' SKUL fan, I listenened to it day in and day out... but since joining the online freestyle community, I come to find out more about new artists and I loved what I heard... the reason why i never liked it before was simply because there is no GOOD ads for it... so I guess what AKT was saying is simply that we gotta give it a better chance to shine... it's time to move on to newer better things 🙂
 
I agree everyone has thier opinions here, but lets try to keep the negativity to a minimal here, because sooner or later IT WILL get out of hand, and I've seen enough of that shit to last me a lifetime.

AKT was banned for speaking from his heart. It might have only been his personal opinion, but he shouldn't be denied his membership just because his views of this Bad Boy Joe project are in the minority. I don't see where anyone was personally attacked in his comments (except for Edwin - but Edwin and CPR always fight with each other like their married).
