AKT,

Thank you for your honesty. I suspected that the 'New School' portion of this release would not receive the same treatment as the Old School material contained in the "Mega Mix". I never bothered to purchase volumes one or two and now I have absolutely no desire to run out and pick up volume three. The one and only good thing I see coming from this release is the mass availabilty that these Bad Boy Joe CDs seem to have. I can walk into almost any major record store chain and find these CDs prominantly displayed. Like you, I own almost all of the songs contained on the New School CD anyways, so I have no need to purchase these songs again.

You guys can keep your Bad Boy Joe's Best Of Freestyle Mega Mix Volume Three. I'll be listening to my copy of New England Freestyle Classics. 😉

:lol

I remember when I received my promo copies of 1 & 2.....they were great!!!! Now, with the hype of number 3 from all you guys.......I am really anticipating in getting the third one......can't wait!!!

Peace

Thanks to Gene and Joe for having ALVENDIA and MALYSSA part of the New Generation Bonus CD! Thank you for the love!

And thanks to Club Freestyle for all of your opinions - this thread shows why music is so powerful - it's all subjective and each opinion matters in the big scheme of things. We're fortunate we have a site like Club Freestyle to voice these opinions.

With that said, much love to What If Productions and Bad Boy Joe.

Peace...

I received my copy today and I have to say it´s really great!!!
All my doubts are blown away now...
I think it´s very enjoyable! 😀

I bought the cd today and I cant wait to listen to it later! Before I have even heard the new school cd, I just have to give thanks to Bad Boy Joe for even putting this bonus cd as part of the volume 3 package. Giving these new school artists the exposure they need and deserve, is only a testament to Joe's love of freestyle and his knowledge that there are so many freestyle fans out there that enjoy listening to it. So whether it's a mix or not doesnt matter to me...Im just glad to finally have my hands on these new school tracks. Oh, and how often does a freestyle cd even come out these days? Hardly ever!!! So once again, thank you Joe...I cant wait to listen!!!

Is anyone a part of streamload??? If so can someone send me the Bad Boy Joe vol3...I know i will get grief for this from everyone but i don't buy albums sorry...

LMAO

And you guys wonder why Freestyle sales are so dismal.

"freestylefreak4", I won't give you grief because, quite frankly, you are not the only person looking to download free music. At least you are honest 😉

<--givin grief!

Go out and buy the CD Freestylefreak4! :mad

Yes I download but I also purchase! *Watching my collection grow! 🙂

Look i'm sorry but i can bet that more than half of people in cf download music all the time especially freestyle b/c i've seen it done. I've asked for songs and they've sent email to me. Another thing why would you download an album and then go to the store and buy it. That ridculous. Be honest to yourself. I'm sure the bad boy joe 3 is worth buying and if i don't find on the internet i will go and buy it. the last cd i bought was bad boy joe 2 when it came out. I do support freestyle b/c i've gone to certain lengths to go see concerts! But thats besides the point. Peace out guys...

I've already admitted to downloading songs. I've also stated that I purchase the cd's too! The ones that are available for purchasethat is because there are some out there that can't be found for purchase.

AKT,

I see your disappointment and why you felt the nu skool tracks were delivered half way. At first I was like, what the **** is this? Is the nu skool cd a mix or a faded album? Then I thought it over and I tried to picture what Bad Boy Joe was thinking. He wanted to give us a taste of what the nu skool tracks taste like and this was his way of getting us to focus on each song by itself. In a mix, you tend to follow with the beat and focus more on the mix rather than the song itself. Bad Boy Joe wants us to sit down and appreciate each nu skool hit by displaying them in an album-like format. I've bought a lot of freestyle mixes over the years and most of the time, I'd be lucky if I get 3 really good freestyle songs that either I like or I don't have. For under $20 and you get 2 cd's for the price of 1, plus very few of the nu skool hits aren't even out on the market right now. It was definitely a bargain for me as a freestyle fan.

Thank You Bad Boy Joe for saving me a great deal of money that I would have dumped on a few other freestyle mixes to get the equivalent amount of songs listed on your new skool-bonus cd. Peace, Much Love, and Freestyle Rules!!!!

I consider myself an "Old School" fan. I never really listened to "New School". Since joining this site I've really started to appreciate "New School" as well. Bad Boy Joe, in my opinion has done 2 things with his latest release. First, He's added another great
(My opinion) Cd to his Freestyle collection, and secondly allowed the "New" generation of Freestyle to be heard.I thought that promoting Freestyle, either old or new was a good thing.A DJ's mixing style is something that you can debate, It's a matter of preference. But, supporting someone who's not only keeping Freestyle Alive, but moving it forward with "New School" is the reason we're all here.

This may be the most intelligent reasoning I've read in this entire thread. Unfortunately, I still choose to keep my $18.99 in my pocket.

Stay tuned for free copies of this cd in an upcoming Freestyle File Radio show contest.
Ya know we always bring the goods.
Big thanx to Gene & Joe.
Peace,

I can't believe you guys are being Critical about a "BONUS CD"...this means you get it FREE...

I hear ya Phillip Anthony!

This would be like a homeless person going to a shelter and dissing the food!

You're getting the cd for free! How can you complain about something you get for free?

Don't like it? Use it as a coaster.

And if you don't like the way BadBoyJoe mixes, why did you buy the cd in the first place? Surly you knew it would be a disappointment to YOU. :rolleyes
