A big shout-out of recognition going out to all my Italians that have produced & supported Freestyle over the years.

While @ the Copa last weekend all I heard was Boricua this and Latino that....of course Speedy Gonzalez was holding it down, but I was standing behind a group of Italians and they were like "what about us".

So, I'm shouting you paisan's out.....y'all deserve credit, no doubt (as I'm sitting here listening to Stepanie Maranos bomb-ass album).

I used to live in Bay Ridge and chilled in Bensonhurst and you Italian's kept Freestyle alive.....most of my friends from high school were Italian (Frank Esposito aka DJ Zone- where u at?)

Well said Carlito I being 100% Italian have made Freestyle part of who I am.I grew up in the Brookyln/Queens neighborhood of Ridgewood , at the time a very Italian area. I was still there during the years of Freestyle's highest popularity.Many if not all of my Italian friends and classmates were true Freestyle fans as I still am after so many years.The Italians backed it more than any other ethnic group as far as I am concerned.Fuhgeddaboudit!
