just wondering.
george lamonds bad of the heart was 1st under the name loose touch. was it any different than the columbia release? also did it come out in '88? cuZ i have a record that samples that beat and its from '88.

Here's the track listing for each 12". I couldn't find a release date for the Loose Touch release. The GL release has the 1990 Club Remix (I love this remix!), a House Mix, and some beats after the a capella. The Loose Touch release has an instrumental house remix which I think is cool. Buy them both!!!

Loose Touch
Side A
Club Mix (7:52)
Dope Mix (6:04)

Side B
Radio Edit (4:15)
House Mix (6:23)
Acapella/Bad Beats (6:03)

GL
Side One
Club Mix (7:52)
Radio Edit (4:00)
Dope Mix (6:04)

Side Two
1990 Club Remix (6:58)
1990 Instrumental House Remix (6:50)
A Cappella Mix (2:20)

loose touch was a group george lamond was in when he first started out...in consisted of him and his cousin Joey kidd, i dont know to much about it, but i do know that much

thanks,
i was just wondering how much earlier the loose touch 12" came out before the columbia release, since the record i got that sampled it was from '88.

The listings are correct, but I think I got confused when i was describing the differences. Y'all know what I mean. 🙁

george use to go by the name 'loose touch'..
under Ligosa, when he added the dancers, kenny,
eddie, joey..it became 'george lamond & the loose
touch dancers'...then Ligosa sold george lamond
only to Columbia. the singles may have gotten
a brush up before their release on columbia.
