Am I the only one who felt that the last New School Freestyle cd was slightly uneven in terms of good production/bad production and such? I felt the DMA Freestyle cds were much better in terms of sound. I had read that there was a difficult time getting together good tracks for the last New School one. I am sorry to see the end of the compilation series though. I have most of them. It was definitely one thing to look forward to.

Loved the last new scool cd from Best of freestyle megamix vol.5,that cd has so many good songs.

aw dammit. and i was jus listening to my copy of vol. 2 today & wonderin if another just like that would come out, oh well good while the series lasted.

I heard Bad Boy Joe mix and I can safely say that he aint all that he is blown out to be, I heard one of his cd's and I tell you, he is not no different from any DJ out there putting in work, except he might have more recognition and publicity due to the fact he mixes, and knows people who can push his merchadise! He is very overated and needs no know that if you gonna have a big name ,you need to have mixes that are worth buying for, cause when it comes for demand of your product, if you can't deliver , don't be surprised on why you can't make another mix due to the fact the fans turn on you, its quality over quanity, bets believe it brotha!
 
I have all five (5) Best Of Freestyle Mega Mix CDs. I bought them all in stores in my area.

Sad to hear that there won't be anymore.

Willie Valentin's mix on Volume: 5 was very good!
