Question though -

Why weren't other new schoolers featured on here?

Why was "On the Edge" by Tony Moran on there as "new school"?

I loved both cd's - my ears are happy! Good for the treadmill :stoned
 
Yea BABY... this CD combo is probably one of my favorites now... I also like the fact that the OLD SCHOOL is on a separate CD then the NEW SCHOOL... both CD's are the BOMB!!!

the old school cd is as usual excellent
the new school cd i was curious about--the other day i heard an excellent mix on latino mix that was all new school--last tuesday to be exact with DJ Mickey Garcia and it opned up my eyes to what i was missing. I bought this cd expecting good stuff from the new school artists and for the most part i was not disappointed.
The New Generation of New Schoolers is definitely different from the new freestyle of past years where most of the songs were very generic and boring. This new batch of freestyle artists seem to have a genuine passion --and it shows in their songs. Although,I have to question the inclusion of Luie Lowe's Dont Turn Away. There is no easy way to say this-----the man sings off key for almost the entire song. It was a painful song to open up with. There are some real treasures here though---Willie Valentin's "In My Heart "is a great track!!!
I just wish these songs would get radio airtime--the only reason why New school hasnt yet captured the hearts of a lot of the people in NYC is becuase they havent been exposed to it!!!! Radio only plays the tried and true old school classics. Thats great--I mean I love the Old School, but the new generation deserves a chance to have their stuff exposed.

Synthia Figueroa is a great find--what a voice!! Synthia and Cynthia duet in the works? Aby has a lot of emotion, Ashley is another up and comer to keep your eyes on. David Mykl shows great promise. Nick Colon and Nu Image also deserve mention as do Jenae and Zoe. Greg Elyea has a sure fire hit with "Lets Get it On"
 
I dont know if i am the only one who noticed but the new school stuff is pretty old itself

Does anyone know why the "new" is old?
 
Absolutely Awesome.....😀 😀 Bad Boy Joe did it again... His stuff is great as always...I especially like the new stuff to possibly some classics in the making... Great Job!!

is was pretty good. not only that that stuff with the early eighties

intro hit the spot as far as not forgetting when it started. all of

the mixxes were good. but i think he could of dropped lizzete mel

and some t wo more soft ones and put 3 like. fasicnation come to me

i want you baby. and janurary feburary and maybe c bank. for the

first album bad boy joe one.
