Barry Bonds won his 4 in a row NL MVP

Despite the sterioid situation, he is on road to break the Babes 714 HR record. Who do you think was the best Player;
Babe Ruth or Barry Bonds?

Bonds get my vote. Here's why;

There was fewer teams pre 1945, the was no players of color pre 1945, there was no relief pitching pre 1945. So Barry is a far better player.

I would have to dissagree. It doesnt matter how many teams there were. There was also no steroid usage back then. All of the stats were normal and baseball was somewhat regulated.

Also, Bonds is a big sissy la la who whines at everything. I still dont agree with MVP as it was totally based on his HR #. Look at his other stats and compare to some of the other players in the league with much better stats.

Just my 2 cents.

Bonds

Actually its his 7th MVP that he has won........and regardless of steriod use in today sports world......steriods dont give you talent and skill, you must have it already, it wasnt proven that it enhanced anything, innocent til proven guilty, remember that...and he be whinny but Babe Ruth was a womanizer and drunk, nobody is perfect......Props are due here, Barry is the best baseball player off all time and he will break the Babe's record next season, that will put him in records books forever.....All he needs is that damn championship ring, the SF Giants will eventually get the job done, hopefully before I die........lol.....Go Barry and the Giants.........

I like Bonds and the Nuschool, but Ruth had more HRs than ENTIRE TEAMS some years.

That's like a player hitting 150 HRs in a year nowadays.

It's a toss-up. Barry's a good player but I gotta tip my hat to the Bambino.
