I spoke to some of the guys from DYNAMIX & they themselves told me the song is not finished, & there will be alot of more mixes added. There are also other projects with Betty in the works. & Then I come on here & read this. lol.

& Yes ULTIMIX2003, WE DO come here to this site because we love Freestyle music AND because we love people who USED to do Freestyle music.
So we shouldn't turn this into a hot mess. We should be happy.

To my understanding, it's only Betty Dee on the vocals, its: Dynamix presents Sweet Sensation featuring Betty Dee (or something like that).

Regardless, it's a hott dance/club/house track, & so far, everything that Dynamix has produced in the club scene, has turned into "club gold", & into an anthem. But you wouldn't know that unless you are an avid club-goer where they play this music, a fan/listener of this music, or a part of the gay club scene.

I LOVE Sweet Sensation, & am a huge fan of her vocals since back in da day.
& Usually on CF when there are polls on vocalists or groups people would love to see back, "SS" (Sweet Sensation) & Betty Dee are always on da list.

Im just happy she's doing something again. I'm a fan of her work, & of Dynamix's, & to see these 2 rareities together, sure as hell is a real treat for me. 🙂

Actually Jocelyn's new single "Why" has been getting attention in some of the clubs I have been to and I have seen the video as well. I know Energy 98.1 now Energy 92.7/5 out of Phoenix had this on their playlist. There is a compilation that is out right now that is mixed by Johnny Budz that has this song on it and it is a breakbeat/freestyle version....very hot!!

As far, as a Sweet Sensation come back, I wouldn't hold my breath just yet. Well, the so-called new song by Dynamix presents Sweet Sensation ft Betty Dee, maybe not be so new after all. The vocals which were used on this track are more than 10 or 11 years old. Apparently, Betty was working on a solo album at that time but for whatever reason the it was shelved. The producer of Dynamix just recently decided to use Betty vocal on there track.
Betty, has heard the track and is very happy with the results, right now Betty want no part in promoting the single yet. But, if there is enough interest in it, she would be open to help out according to representatives @ the record company (Kult Records). So, hopefuly, we can make enough noise that Miss Betty Dee comes out of MIA status. :sflower

Although it's a little disappointing to hear that these vocals are not new and that Betty might not actually be making a return to the music industry, there's still no denying that the track is hot! It's got a great vibe and oh yes... those vocals are incredible! I think it's important not to confine our artists with such a stronghold and not allow them to grow. We all change. Our musical tastes and interests grow through the years. It's also somewhat necessary to grow musically in order to find some kind of success again. That's just the breaks. It's upsetting but just a sign of the times. I'm so appreciative of our old school Freestyle artists who are continuing to make Freestyle music BUT I'm not going to fault those artists who want to experiment with new sounds and genres. It's part of being a good musician.

This is neither a comeback, nor an "evolution" of an artist. It's nothing more than a DJ using old vocals by a former freestyle artist on his new house track.

I personally see no reason to support mediocre house tracks just because they have vocals by former freestyle artists. If you want to support house music, support good stuff. Tracks like "I like it" by Narcotic Thrust, "stand back" by linus loves, and countless others.

Right now the FREESTYLE artists need your support.

What projects they are, ... I have no clue. But I sure as hell can't wait to hear more!
I did hear they hooked up with her through "Casa Soul" (a miracle if u ask me).
Regardless, i'm happy to hear anything from her.

it just bothers me that people on here will support a freestyle artist doing a house record but not support or talk about other MUCH BETTER house or trance tracks...........i can name 10 house/trance tracks that are out now that are better than this song...........

if we want to turn this site into a trance/house forum so be it, but i am here to support FREESTYLE
i will support any other music i like at the appropriate forums

I understand the thought that only Freestyle music should be discussed on these boards BUT the whole reason this record is mentioned is because Betty is a Freestyle legend. And for that reason, it's valid. There are some really hot house songs out right now, I agree. I (and others visiting the website) feel that this is one of them. I sense a hint of hateration just because it's not a Freestyle track by Betty. Let it go. Let's move on to another topic.

I like to read the boards and have not post anything yet ......but I have an opinion about argument of "better songs" than this "song"..kind of posts

there is never going to be a song that pleases everyone.


but if a lot of people are liking this song, which is obvious that they are,
why even bother to sit here and tell them their taste is not ledgit?
where is your superiority in terms of " taste" coming from ?

...taste is personal, not arguable and not disputable.
so respect other people taste without hinting you got better records to support.
