Ahh those where the days....

I used to love Hot 103/97 back then. I remember the ANSWER ME!! GUY. It was probably one of the characters the Howard did in the morning. The morning show used to be Hilarious with Howard and Stephanie. I remember the funny skits they did like the Lesbian Honda Rhonda and Your a moron. They used to continuously poke fun at Leona Helmsly at the time. Stephanie is now one of the host on the all women cable channel Oxygen. They used to throw High School Hot night at the Ritz almost every year. That's is where I seen so many Freestyle artist perform. I probably have some old mixes on tape somewhere.

Well. To anyone who has tapes, I will pay $20.00 for a copy of each. However many you have, I'll buy... They've got to be atleast decent sound quality. I'll probably spend $1,000,000.00 at one point or another to have them duplicated onto a CD with perfect sound quality.

I will.. In time, I will have them remastered to sound live. I'm trying to pick up as many as I can from the Saturday Night Dance Party, The Friday Night Techno Rave, The Saturday Night House Party, and whatever else I can get.

If anyone has any of these on tape, please let me know...
 
Sal, I'm looking for the same thing. I used to tape all of the dance parties back in the day. Hundreds of tapes. Until the dreaded ex girlfriend took them all. DAM!!!!!!!!! But email me, I have a few. I'll send you some copies.

Does anybody have the Hot Mix to the Cover Girls "Show Me" in pretty good sound quality or other Hot mixes, Please let me know Ill buy them call me @ 713-530-4220 or email me please
 
I have accumulated a few unscoped airchecks of HOT 103/97, including one from the week they first signed on the air (1986) and I have a DVD of Bill Lee doin his thing in 87..I could hook you up with copies of what I got on CD, the DVD I can't sell cause I purchased it from California Aircheck, but you can see the slip on Reelradio.com. I have a list of songs from 1986-1992 of most of the tracks heard on Hot 103/97 (though I didn't list all the ballards.) If you are intrerested in any of it, hit me, it may take me a bit to gett'er done, but will get it done!
 
You forgot Lamours east, Latin Rascals N Jenny Costa and the animal.. they used to have a vs segment on the afternoons
