Just wanted to bring to your attention an excellent opportunity to further advance your musical career or that of aspiring artist's.
This month, in Boston, will be (2) events that might be of interest to you.
July 18th, 19th, and 20th is the weekend of the South End (Villa Victoria) Puerto Rican festival. They schedule many activities during the weekend and they invite special guests to perform on stage. Sunday is the actual parade, which takes place around noon and it's officially over around 9pm. Many Latin artists' have blessed the stage in the past. Take advantage of this.
July 25th, 26th, and 27th is the bigger event of the two. Taking place in Franklin Park, is the other Puerto Rican festival complete with a carnival, an enormous stage and booths representing every town in beautiful Puerto Rico (Salina's, Ponce, Carolina, etc.). I've seen many artists perform here such as Sancocho, Edgar Joel, myself, Brenda K, and DLG. It's such a great time. You really take pride in being Puerto Rican. Sunday is the parade and it's an all day thing.
So everyone, get your cars ready with the flags and lets do this.
Ashley, Ayna, and Synthia (and the rest of you), I would like to see you ladies there. Speak to your management and tell them to start contacting the organizations if you'd like to perform for the Boston community. It doesn't take much but a few phone calls and maybe a contract or two.
Boston supports Freestyle. Give the fans a chance to know you.
