Madonna, Diana Ross, Maroon 5 and Mary J. Blige are among the performers who are joining the NBC Universal benefit special "Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope." The program, which will benefit the American Red Cross, will air Saturday on NBC, and NBC cable properties, Telemundo and PAX.

In other benefit efforts, Virgin Megastores will mount "100 Acts of Support --The Concerts for Banda Aceh," a day of live performances benefiting victims of the tsunami, in all 20 of its outlets on Jan. 20. All proceeds will be donated to the Music for Relief Fund, in conjunction with the American Red Cross.

God Bless, I still can't believe so many people lost their lives in one moment in time. :sosad

I know. It's crazy.

Hope the show/concert is a huge success.

I heard Madonna was headlining. She rarely does benefit concerts so this is gonna be cool. I understand it's a telethon, sort of like the one they had for 9/11 when there was a line up of actors and artists- and that was the first performance by Mariah Carey since her breakdown, and she looked and sounded amazing.

I'm curious to know what Madonna is going to surprise with.
