one question that's been buggin me all week, how many total Gigles were there, and were they all signed with the same record company, or was the gigle name just a thing back in the day, lol
 
hmmmmm just a guess Naya, but does it start with a B? Oh I wont torture you on this, because I know you'll get me back somehow lol.....OH MAN the Giggles question arises again....This is the last time I'm writing this LOL...The name "Giggles" is owned by Charlie Rock and Cutting Records (although I'm not sure cutting still owns the name, considering Giggle's last single turned up on Metropolitan). I can count 4 different Giggles.....The one who sings "Love Letter" (1986), the girl who sings "Hot Spot" (1988) and the girl who sang the bulk of hits "What Goes Around Comes Around" "He Said She Said" "Memories Of Love". Now, the Giggles on Metro is some girl named Jeannie Maldonado. Go figure.

Damn its great to know that if I ever land a role in freestyle no one will have to ask what my real name is. I read the whole topic without finding out Nyasia`s birth name, somethings just were not meant to be discovered. I just couldnt listen to Nyasia ever again (without asking myself "can it be true") if her name was Bertha or something.

Well Since Robi Rob decided to end the suspense, let me clarify that Nyasia is now also my legal name. Having made it so eight years ago. So Freestyle Diva there you have it, lol. "Blanca Iris Nyasia Batista" to be exact. LOL

Naya, why did you legally change it? Blanca isn't that bad and I will tell you that you are not the first person in my life that I have met named Blanca....Of course the other Blanca I am referring to is the old Spanish lady who lived upstairs from my cousin when I was like 5. She's dead now I guess, but the moral of the story is that Blanca isn't as bad as Wilma. Can you imagine how many people in Safire's life have said upon being introduced "oh Wilma like on the Flintstones".
 
Blanca is a kewl name , don't be ashamed girl.poor Wilma, were just rippin on her name, that aint kewl. what I'm getting at is we all have stupid names, like monica for instance used to be an adored name until a few years back , just food for thought

Don't get me wrong, It's not that I don't like it, it just not a attention getter..know what I mean? it wouldn't work that well on stage. James as for changing it, I made that decision so that I made sure that there would not be another Nyasia on the freestyle seen. Look at how many artist have changed but the name still remains the same.

Freestyle Diva my friends all call me NAYA, like the water.

And as for Wilma, I think Sa-fire suits her better. She is my favorite Freestyle artist.

When I was in High School (Grover Cleveland woot go Indians) we were doing a school play. We were doing the musical "Carousel". Anyways, to make a long story short, one of the girls in the pay, her name was Michael.

Yes...Michael..not Michelle & yes it was pronounced like the normal guy name Michael. I don't think I can think of a worse named situation than that except if you start thinking about all the flower children & the funky names they had for their children.

HEY THERE WAS A TV SHOW (I THINK A SPIN OFF FROM WHOS THE BOSS) AND IT WAS ABOUT 4 GIRLS WHO WANTED TO BE MODELS LIVING WITH SOME LADY - AND HER NAME HAPPENED TO BE MICHAEL LOL (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FREESTYLE WTF LOL) THE HOT GIRL FROM KING OF QUEENS WAS IN IT TOOO.
