Those who qualify to join the Army band are promoted to NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer Rank (Sergeant E5 (Entry Level for Band Members.)
On top of that, depending on your skills, you could qualify to play with the White House Band as opposed to a Divisional Band. (Division Level)
