If you are over the age limit, then you're sort of safe. But think about your little sister or brother being sent overseas. Your son or daughter. Father. Nice thought huh?

George W. Bush seems to think so also, as does the majority of his administration. And if he's "legally" elected President of the United States in November, then the draft will take place that same month. He's already pushed it upon Congress. 🙂

Oh shit, but wait! If you were in the military at some point in your life and you got out after 4 years (or however many years), you ain't home free. You can still be drafted to war. Didn't you read the fine print when you signed the contract silly?

Don't think about going to Canada either. Bush & Dick got the borders on lock. But you can go straight to jail and serve time in Kansas.

This war is useless. Pointless. Everyone else sent for their soldiers to come back, & Bush es el unico pendejo making them stay. I think HE should go over there & fight.
But of course, ...that won't happen.
I just hope my friends & family that are over there make it home safe.
 
This is so phucked up!!!!!!!!! I can't stand the bastard! He's a phucken moron! I would flip a thousand times over if they drafted my sons. I have 2 that are 19 and 20 and I wouldn't know how to live if I knew my sons had to go.

FYI: You can join the military and serve a minimum of 2 years active. But must serve the rest of the 6 inactive or active reserve/national guard.

Or you can serve the 8 years (Which most do) and never have to worry about it.

You need to get your military contracts information straight before opening the mouth and letting the MIERDA fly without knowledge.

Just food for thought, what makes you ladies think that every soldier we have in the Active, inactive, national guard, and Army Reserve that a gun was held to there head and made to sign a contract?

Better yet, what makes you think the every son and daughter doesn't realize that Joining the Military, no matter what branch might bring you into harms way?

Better yet, what makes you think that every son and daughter in the military want an ordinary life?

They came into the service with a few things on there mind. And that is:

1. Get away from the parentals so that they could experience life on there own.

2. Provide for themselves like real people as opposed to living at home. If you live at home at you are over the age of 25, you have issues.

3. Travel the world and gain experience in a job that is more LUCRITIVE then any civilian job you people can come up with.

I could have been a "Under water basket weaver here in the Army but you know what? Because I have military experience, I am one up on you in getting that City/State Job. Even with your four year degree in BOCHINCHE. Why? Because I am Military and Employers look for us before they look for you.

That is the reason why Sons and daughters join the military.


You people really need a reality check. You should be ashamed of yourself to call yourselves American. You hide under the very same fabric of freedom that we Military provide you with and yet you still give no thanks. But thats ok. Because we dont ask for it. All we ask for is loyalty. But I guess that is way too much to ask you people for also.

You people have arguements about all the wrong issues. But then again, thats what happens when you lack Knowledge about anything that goes on in the military or with the military.
 
First off I'm not a pendeja so get that straight. Number two I have a daughter who is 14 and no way in hell is she wants to go into the Military because some dick head got it in his ass thats what she wants. You are right about them having their own minds about joining if they want to, My kids don't want to because they want to do other things they do have dreams of doing something with themselves. I won't let some prick drag my kid into a war cause thats what the fuk he wants.
I give my props to those who are out in the war. Thats what they chose and thats what this thread is about. Not that we are cowards. or Pendejos like you called us. This thread is about the choice that they should make on their own not that some stupid fuk said that they must because he ran out of men and women.

I understand your anger, but I fail to see where any of the posts you are reacting to trash talked any branches of the military, or any soldiers. The posts were talking against a plan by president Bush to re-instate the draft.

Just because the people in the previous posts didn't serve in the military doesn't make their opinions less valid.

You are proud of your time served in the military. I can completely understand that. My grandfather was in the army during WW2. My father was in the Marines during Vietnam. I have pictures of them in thier uniforms.

My grandfather (while he was alive-he passed not too long ago) and my father (still here) both trashed talked Bush. Don't like him, never did, and believe him to be a hypocrite, who would send other people's children to war, while pulling every possible string to keep his daughters here.
 
Thats exactly what I'm saying. You can't knock us for hating Bush. I have nothing but respect for the military. I just don't want my kids dragged into something because some else wants it to be that way. If it's my kids choice then so be it I will respect their decision. But I'll be damn if my kids aren't allowed the freedom to have that choice. So come November I will be voting against Bush.
 
no matter who the president is we cant pull out of iraq it is to late for that. if we do someone 10 to 15 times worse then saddem will take over. the U.S has to see this to the finish

No you guys are missing the point. Whether the Draft was brought back or not....does not matter. Avoiding it by going abroad or simply not doing your HOME WORK on the issue made you look very un-intelligent.

Dont jump on any band wagon. Do your home work over issues dealing with the presidency. And so what if they bring in the draft. Does that change the definition of freedom or it's worth in fighting for?
