April 13 event at the Chromium in Chicago with GIOIA, Trilogy, and GEORGE LAMOND

The show at the Chromium last night was awesome. My fav DJ Tim Spinnin' Schommer started his Freestyle mix and really got me dancin like I haven't in awhile. Gioia was the first to come out and perform. She looked great, I mean HOT! Her return to the dance music scene was greatly appreciated. GIOIA really got the crowd going with songs like "Come Go With Me", "Point of No Return" and her current release "Free to be" a trancy style house track. She even pulled to girls up on stage, unfortunately for the petite Gioia, these girls outweighed her tons. I was afraid that Gioia was going to fall when pulling up the one girl but being in the excellent shape that GIOIA is in she kept her stance. Oh, lol, the one girl fell on the stage while Gioia was singing. I don't know how Gioia kept from not laughing her @ss off.

Trilogy came on next but I was disappointed that they played some latin house track to start off with. It was great seeing Joey Kidd performing Counting the days. It was cool to see George Lamond come out and join Trilogy on stage. Trilogy really should have gone on first but I don't think they would have gotten the crowd going the way Gioia did. George of course looked great.

In my opinion as well as the opinions of my friends who came with me, the fav of the night and the best performance definitely went to GIOIA. I think everyone was glad to see that this DIVA is back. I am looking forward to seeing her again at The World in NYC! It will be great seeing the pioneers of Freestyle on one stage in one night!

a great show, had a blast...where were you bro?? did you see when gioia grabbed that dudes head at the front of the stage at one point and ummmm, lets just say he boldly went where noone else went that night??? WELL.....THAT WAS ME.....HAPPY MAN I AM!!

more shows to come...chicago has been away from freestyle for too damn long...🙂
 
I was two people back from the center of the stage. What song was GIOIA singing when she grabbed you? I must have missed that part. That would have meant that you were pretty much in front of me. I was fortunate enough to get to hang out with GIOIA after the show. She is awesome!

well now....

lets see rog....i cant remember the name of the song that was playing but "point of no return" would fit the bill for that moment 🙂...i was in the front of the stage in the center next to the monitor that these girls kept knocking over.

and taco bella....i took 2 1/2 rolls of film so something must come out good...i did get a shot of the boys alone and a few with them and onstage so i'll see how they look and email them to you if they come out, k??

I have tons of pics of Trilogy. I used up most of my film on them. It's ok, but, I only got 2 pics of George 🙁 He was lookin fine as always in his black leather pants. Roger, I can't believe you don't like that house track. I LOVE it. danced my @ss off that night. I always make my spot during the show up on the dance floor at the railing so I'm a head above everyone. Mario, I saw that when Gioa was rubbin on your head. I thought she might lick you any sec. Joey Kidd is FINE. He was out daning his butt off all night before his performance. That baby can dance. After George Lamond performed Joey was at the bottom of the staircase giving autographs so I got in line and when it was my turn I said..... All I want is a kiss LOL I got a squeeze of his booty too. 😉 The night ended too soon..... Can't wait till the 18th.

well now....why did i not get to meet you either?? seems like we chi-town peeps need to hook up some meeting place next time so we can finally say hello to eachother next time....

i wont be there for tka but you all should hook up and take some pix and post 'em....🙂
