Aol...

ok.. i have been using aol for about 2 years now..
i started with the 6 months free thing.. and i got it cuz i had just cuz my cable. so i needed to us dial up...
after the 6 months i call to cancel it.. and they told me they would give me 3 months free in case i changed my mind..
when i called they said the same thing again so i had anoth 3 months free.
after that i stayed with it.. for about 2 months till i got the cable again
so once again i called and they gave me 2 months free. i went with dsl about 2 months ago.. and i;m still trying to cut my aol.. i called 2 months ago and they gave me 2 months free. i just called today and he gave me a month free..
so in all i have only paid for aol about 4 months out of the 2 years ...

they just love giving free months. but i'm so sick of calling them to try to cancel :angered ..

has this happen to any or you guys?

It has happen to me but with Time Warner, i went a whole year without paying for service.......

When we switched over to cable we had that problem. So then my mom got on the phone with them and I don't think they knew what hit them! LOL She somehow got it through to them and that was it. You want my mom to call for you?

Dreamgirl, AOL hates losing customers. I went to cancel mine and I was paying $23.90. Because I wanted to cancel they told me they'll charge me $14.95. They won't let you cancel.

Well now I know how to get free services! But tell them what I told them once, I told them that I was getting a divorce because me and the hubby were fighting all the time over the comp! they asked no questions and cancelled!
