like at a drug store or mall or supermarket? any stories like that at all? maybe on vacation or something?

I think I ran one over with my shopping cart at a supermarket. It was quite sad but hey i didnt know! 😛

The only one i ever met was Coro on Troutman St 111 🙂

i met brenda k. starr and angel from the cover girls at the meadowlands fair in jersey

were they there for something specific or just hangin out?

they performed there , they stayed after to sign autographs and angel gave out demos of a song she was releasing

I ran into Gioia in Chicago on Halsted St. There was a street fest going on that day.

ive ran into local artists such as leo deleon, cesar, jaime, marcos b, chris diaz, Angelique i met her at the mall when she was down here promoting her album back in the days... i even got her autograpgh and all...

I used to run into them ALL the time - Coro and I always bumped into each other at the gym, in the street (He would wave while rollerblading by in Greenwich Village) and I performed with him onstage way after I had already known him from bumping into him. Then there was Alisha (she and I studied with the same vocal teacher so I would ALWAYS bump into her when she was finishing up her vocal lesson and I was going into mine). I lived directly across the street from Raiana Page at one point and chatted with her a couple of times. And I ran into Daphe Rubin Vega of "Pajama Party" at her neighborhood Korean deli on 8th Street in The Village. I have also bumped into Sebastian and Tonasia - from what I remember Sebastian was best friends with Judy Torres at the time...I also ran into Noel at a Mexican restaurant (with a huge sombrero out front) near Houston street. When I recorded a single for Stylin' Free Records I would bump into Lil Suzy in the recording studio often...she was very cool and she signed a great photo to me...The last freestyle star I caught a glimpse of was Safire (still very pretty!) not too long ago (she walked right past me near Macy's on 34th in Manhattan). There are probably a lot more but that's all I can think of now...I worked with so many of freestyle's top producers that I was always meeting artists but most of these meetings I just mentioned were by accident!!!

Very Cool Damian, Wow That Is Alot Of Stories! Lol
LOL - I know, it's weird...and I used to work with and do demos for some of the top freestyle producers and writers like MKG (Tear Shed), Charlie Rock (Giggles), Jeff Mann (TKA - One Way Love), Bob Steele (Sweet Sensation's "If Wishes Came True", Safire's "Thinking of You" and Fascinations' "Remember") and many others but it wasn't in the studios that I met most of them - it was by accident in the street!!!

I only ran into one freestyle artist That was kayel (k7)I was like 13 years old and was visiting a friend and as we were going up her steps there was K7 She knew who he was at the time .I knew the music if I heard it but didnt know what he looked like until that day..Now I realize how cool that was lol..

One of my ex-partners is best friends with Fascination, I ran into George Lamond walking in the West Village back in 1993, and I ran into Coro out in Kew Gardens last summer.

I met Lisa Lisa at my cousin's dance recital....she was going out with the dance school's owner's son...she even came out in the show...I took a pic with her and she signed a poster for me...
