hasnt happened to us ever since our house was built 11 years ago - the A/C finally decided to break down yesterday and at this point the inside thermostat reads 83 degrees. i went outside just now where heat index is 93 - and the outside temperature actually felt cooler than the inside. A/C technician isn't arriving till thursday. this morning i tried the fuses, and the machine started up once again -but for like 5 minutes, then it died and it hasnt worked since. thank god the heat wave is over & it's cooler tomorrow, but still! today was one of those cloudy muggy rainy days where it feels like a rainforest outside & this did not help the a/c-free situation inside my house.
our heater has a tendency to break down every winter so thats normal for us, but still i dont kno what's worse no heat in the dead of winter or no a/c in the middle of summer. anyone else had a/c troubles this hot summer yet?
