I know they were pushing Freestyle more b/c of the Beatstock show.. BUT.... it's Tuesday & I am still hearing a bit more than usual...
Could it be that someone is looking at the poll on KTU, or perhaps someone at the beatstock concert took notice of how the place was insane for the legends of fresstyle....!

anyone else..? or am I getting ahead of myself...

NySeXyLiLrIcAn... point taken.... still the same stuff... it's better than nothing... BUT Id' some new stuff.. or atleast something diff. in the rotation... Come on KTU.. help bring freestyle back.. play some of the new stuff... so at Beatsstock 2010... we'll be going nuts like they did over the weekend...BUT for people like nick colon, ashley, Elissa.. etc.

yeah i listen to KTU at work too...and there has been more freestyle, and they been playing this message alot lately before they play a song "KTU...where freestyle lives" --I called and asked them once why they don't play new freestyle...their reply was "cuz no one has ever heard it and/or no one requests it" but thats where i get confused...how can someone hear something new or request something if you dont even play it?? I dunno...I'm not sayin KTU is the best but it's the only station that has ANY freestyle so I'll listen..
 
The amount of freestyle that they are playing is at least 2 songs an hour. Yes it is the same old songs.....but when I heard Naya's "Who's Got Your Love" the other day, I almost fell out of my chair at work! If they keep this up....things can only get better!
 
I guess that if KTU plays Freestyle then we can call it good news. Personally, like many of you, I don't listen to ktu anymore. Only on sundays, when Judy Torres is on.

Sorry I missed beatstock but I had to take a stand for the artists'...Stations have to take a chance and support Artists' who's talent goes beyond explantion.

It's not enough to play the old music
especially when many artists' of today have such incredible diverse talents. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone, what I’m looking for is support. Beat-stock proved many fans still have a enormous love for the artist’s of today and if these same artists' can not have equal opportunity to share their new music, then it is unfair to the fans and to the artists' that work hard day in and day out to touch people’s lives with this culture of music.

Name it what you want…but for me it is obvious that talented people in this industry should have equal opportunity to display their enormous talents. For me many artists’ today from the freestyle era that are incredible entertainers, they blow away many new artists’ of today! So to use the excuse of lack of ability and entertainment is a poor excuse. But I believe that one-day things will turn around for talent people like Freestyle artists’ of the past and myself. But till then I will continue to blowout great fantastic music regardless if it goes underground I will follow my heart and continue to touch lives with my music.

And my fan base with continue no matter what, there is no I in team and for me and my team of supporters and industry people who stand with me with this crusade. We will impact this industry with objectional opinions that will open hearts and minds to examine reasoning’s to allow our talents to go beyond walls of oboistion and erroneous rejection.

To our radio station thank you for beat-stock and much success in the future but consider you positions in the future and give us a chance at the future! For many of us we have never let you down in the pasted and today with our fan base and expectations of the future, it is looking brighter everyday. See you soon at the next concert!

Since the radio station KTU is playing a bit more freestyle can't you request to hear more of the songs their playing or does the request only apply to new songs?

If you request it wouldn't more people get to hear it. I am making it sound more simple than it is?
 
it was merely a ploy to hype up the BEATSTOCK SHOW.

but last night, they played "BABY DONT GO" to get everyone hyped up for the show at the VANDERBILT!
