Fusions are made for fans who want to hear their genre mashed up with another. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's not meant to be the savior of a genre that is dead and gone.
I take with a grain of salt what you think of my musical expertise in freestyle. After all this is the same CPR who came out with one of the most crappiest cd's in freestyle history. A CD so bad it made Hot productions look like Cutting Records compare to yours.
It's hilarious that you always are so critical of every new comer on the scene. When you peddled straight up garbage.
Go head and speed dial CB again and gossip some more. I think thats probably the funniest thing about this.
I agree profusely. We always talk about the lack of quality freestyle artists but neglect that the producers are just equally to blame.
Carlos Berrios has been concetrating on short films as of lately. Much success to him. He produced quality freestlye but his last compilation left much to be desired.
It was a great cd if it came out in 1989. I guess Carlos was tring to give the old school crowd what they so yearn for. Did they buy? We all know the answer to that one. This is not a knock on Carlos Berrios. I'm just saying it's time to move on.
The sound needs to be updated.

Phantazma....But go ahead keep on writing your ramblings so you can get corrected more than Frankie Cutlass.
Oh wOw; You really told me.
Recycle the same responce you've given me before.
Is that all you got?
Seriously.
Lets not get off subject here soap box stander.
You can't flip flop back and forth like John Kerry.
You can't praise the Don't Look Back series for a year and then diss it just because you changed your name.
8 of your Top 12 songs of 2008 came from the Don't Look Back Series.
2 others were produced BY Carlos Berrios.
So. Who's the one we should take with a grain of salt?
The DJ who put out a "crappy" compilation 10 years ago...or the hypocrite name changing flip flopper!?
LET ME REFRESH YOUR MEMORY!

CHECK MATE!
Please don't try to seem intelligent. It doesn't become you.
George Lamond's "What Is Love" (your number 4 song for 08) is far from a "Classic" Freestyle song. If its Production isn't an example of a new sounding updated form of Freestyle, nothing is.
Lisette Melendez's "Don't Ever Say" (your number 3 song of 08) has LIVE instruments in them; Not your typical "Classic" sounding Freestyle song.
The reason why I'm in this thread is to correct novice misinformers like yourself who sit behind their computer trying to play Fantasy Freestyle Producer as you attempt to influence people into thinking that you know what your talking about; far worse. That you think you know what's best for the music.
What I get from your ramblings is that the only thing needing updating is your knowledge of Freestyle music.
So please. Sit there behind your computer monitor; Sit there and be lame. Be a ham and egger; Be typical. Just be a fan. Be satisfied with that.
Your backwards regressive thinking style of Freestyle production is not only counter productive; But it has already been tried various times.
