Some of the members, if I recall, complained about some threads being pointless, and blah blah blah. 🙂..Well heres one for you! So I better see many replies. Well, I wanted to know if any of you guys have any stories to tell. I know there are DJs and also artists who are members here, so Im guessing you have had many experiences with the music bussiness, there for, you have met other artists too. Right? Well I wanna hear them, as goes for everyone else. I dont have many stories to tell, or actually, I dont have any...lol. I only met shanon, and TKA...And all of you already know my story with them. This thread also goes out to Jack G and Johnny..I know you got stories man!
 
Well...

it's not really my story... it's my friend's. but since she doesnt post, let me share her encounter with... TKA!

Years... years... years ago... they performed at Avanti's. They needed a ride home... so she drove them. They wrote on her fogged up windows (it was rainy, dont get any ideas. lol)... "Thanks Lenore!...." and somethin else... dont remember.

LOLLLL... I don't know what year.. I'll have to ask her... but I thought it was a cute story. 😉
 
OH OH! My story.....

OMG Martini! They rode in her car!? I cant belive it, im soooo jealous..lmao! Well well well, since you brought up TKA, I think I should jump on it for a while, even though some people already know my story.(hehehe) Well, I went to a latino mix concert with 2 of my friends. I heard TKA and a bunch of other hispanic artists will be performing that day. So this was at the world trade center. If you have ever been there, there are seats in the back so you dont have to stand up while they are performing. But you see, I didnt want to sit down. I wanted to stand up right in front of the stage and dance. So then I heard TKA was in the house. I didnt think much of it, but as soon as I heard the begining of one way love, they all came out in order one my one. I jumped up and down screamin my ass offf! Then, Angel was the nearest one near me, and he actually waved to me! And gave me this irrisistable smile I will NEVER forget. And then all I know is, while hes singing, he was actually staring at me! And he pointed to me while he was singing! OMG!!!!!! Well, when they were done, I was pissed off, because I didnt want it to end, but I ended up goin to the side to get a drink. So as I was walkin, I see this guy coming up to me, with a woman on his side. He shook my hand and said im glad you enjoyed our performance, i love to see young ones into freestyle, and then he left! I almost died! It was KAYEL! Then, when i was still in my own little world..Two other guys came up behind me, and asked me if I wanted to take a pic with them...To myself, I was wondering who the hell they were..But then i realized it was Tony and Angel! Angel and Tony put there arms around me to take the pic, i think I almost melted. Dam, Angel got these hot yellowish green eyes..I just wanted to....oh! never mind! Anyways, thats when i started getting crazy about TKA, I always loved them, but that day got me even more to love them! They actually noticed me! hehehe...Ok, im done with my story, sorry if it was too long, but I love this story sooooo much...lol...🙂
 
lol. see, they're just regular people like u and me. when i saw them at ohm i was in a trance. i had to leave early so i couldnt meet them... but it's ok.... maybe some other time.

and yea... my friend told me this story a long ass time ago. i wasnt even into them as much as i am now (i was young). but it bugs me out everytime i think about it. lol. 😀
 
I know what your sayin! Gosh, I was dramatized! Imagine your friend!!!!!!!!! I wish I was in that car man, imagine what would happen to them in the back seat....shhhhhh, hehehe.
 
lol. nah... she didnt go nuts. if she did i dont think they would've gotten in the car with her. lol. she just saw them as a bunch of ordinary guys who sang her favorite songs and needed a ride home. 🙂
 
Hmmmm, so I guess there lucky I wasnt related to her and I had to go home with her. Then that would make me in the same car as them...hehehe..Gosh, shes lucky. At least I gotta chance to get one sing to me and take a pic! YAY!!!!!....Anyone else got any stories? Come on guys, I wanna see a lot of stories in this thread....
 
Well last week TKA was in my town.....I was screaming my ass off and I thought Angel was so cute. So then they go to the side of the club and sign autographs and take pictures and then angel goes up to me gives me a kiss in my mouth and then gives me his number!!!!! I actually called him after the club, but he was like come chill with us to NY....so I said no cuz I got class tomorrow. So that was that, then I go to my boy's house who actually put the whole show together and guess who was there.....yup TKA.... There all maddd cool and I'm pretty sure the next time I go to NY we'll hook up!!!!

oh no doubt! he actually came up to me....and I'm saying we were just chillin in an afterparty so nothing even like that just on some cool shit! plus all my boyz know them so it's all good!!! he wasn't even disrespectful or anything like that he was just a regular person and that's how I see him. I don't sweat nobody!

man when i first met coro...he was the first freestyle singer i ever met...him and lil suzy...they performed together at newport mall...it was great...i heard it in the morning on my way to school..i even called to verfy....i ran out of school from newark at took the path and got to jc fast as hell!!! coro didnt even come on for another hour...but there he was just chillin on the stage...i was so scared to approach him...but i finally got the guts...no one even knew who he was...i think he washappy i recognized him...we chilled for a bit..talking about freestyle...i gave him my picture from the freestyle nation to sign but he was like here i have a better one...it was a black and white photo of him with no shirt on hubba hubba...this girl had a camera and he was like hey can u take our pic...she did (but she never sent it)...but boy was i happy...when he came on i was screaming my head off...i remember hollywood hamilton was like damn that girl is about to have a baby!!!! lol...i was more nervous to met him then i was lamond...even though i really love lamond...but coro was my first freestyle singer!!! LOL those were good times...and u guys know the two times i met lamond!!! so thats all my stories
 
I have a story that is like a dream for me!! About 2 or 3 years ago I was at Club Cylo in Staten Island. Cynthia was there performing. I was in the front and she came to the song Dreamboy/Dreamgirl. She said, as she often does, "Who wants to be my Johnny O" I was jumping up and down , as was every other guy...She decided to pick ME!!!!!!!! 🙂 ...She pulled me up and her two female dancers (also hot!!) sat me on a stool...Then Cynthia sang it to me...I was in heaven!!! Best night of my life!!!!!!! 😛
 
i met Synthia Figueroa last Friday!!!!!! Oh man she has some soft, smooth, nice skin!!!!!! i think i was gonna pass out when she touched me. She signed my Synthia Figueroa's Dreaming CD cover and she was a little embarrased cause me and my friends took a qwik pic of her eating her chicken. i got her on film signing my CD cover and touching my hand!!! OHHHH MAAAAAANNNNN!!!
 
I remember a couple of years ago when Johnny O was performing
at the central florida fair here in orlando and my friend and I went to go see him perform and all...we were smack up front, practially kissing the stage, anyways I was sooo jealous cause the whole time he was singing he was looking at my friend and even grabed her hand during one of his songs! The whole time he was looking at her! Oh well it was all good! Memories!
Then another time I saw the nasty boys perform and afterwards they hit up Mikey D's I was sitting there w/ my dumb ass boyfriend and they came and sat in the booth right by us. I was like oh man! i just wanted to kick the boyfriend to the curve and go chill with them! I was pissed!...

i remember i saw INDIA perform at some teen club back in 1989...well the club was full of thugs and when INDIA came out, she was wearing a tiny short skirt. all them thugs went crazy when they saw her! i think she was singing "right from the start" when one of the thugs reached up her skirt and grabbed her cootchie! oh sh*T she went crazy, kicked him in the face and threw her mic stand on all them thugs....she then stood on stage with her hand over her face like if she was crying for 2 minutes ( i think she was) she then finished her song and told them thugs "u muther f**kers need to grow up.....f**ken a*shole's! then security tried to throw people out and forget it there was a riot with chairs and things flying all over the place LOL......
what a blast i had that night! we ran out of there ducking the whole time LOL
