Could be...he would had to have been living in the Philly area in 1990 to have heard it though. The song really didn't leave the metro Philadelphia area and Hot Streak Records didn't have sort of distribution to get the song "out there".

The song didn't receive a wide release until 1993 when the radio edit was featured on the B-Side of the Viper/Metropolitan single for Sammy C.'s "Faded Destiny".
