We all know male-female R&B duo Groove Theory, that brought us da jam "Tell Me (if u want me to)" back in '95.

The male member Bryce Wilson, was part of what group / team, that produced records for Freestyle artists?

1. Name da group he belonged to, & some of the peeps he worked with.

2. Connie's real name is?

OK... fine,

Bryce "Luvah" Wilson was part of Mantronik,
who are responsible for writing & producing freestyle classics like:

"right from the start" by India,
"hungry for your love" by Hanson & Davis,
"(you are my) all & all" - Joyce Simms,
& songs by Nocera, & other artists.

Big difference from his production on "Tell Me" in 1995. (Which by the way iz one of da phattest R&B jamz.)

Connie's real name is-(get ready) :

Consuelo Piriz !!!

(no, not Perez, almost).
she is half Cuban & Honduran, raised in Hialeah, Miami, FL.

Grrrrr...
No one ever gets my trivia! : (

OK...NEXT...

Mariah Carey's 1st #1 hit "Vision of Love" was first handed to what Freestyle artist, but declined?

I know Mariah sang backup vocals for Brenda K Starr, so I'll take a stab and say Brenda K Starr is the answer. I have no idea, though. This is a total wild guess.

It was GEORGE LaMOND!!!!!!

The song was in Brenda's hands, (not to perform it), & before she offered it to Mariah, ....she suggested it to George, but George told Brenda that he felt the song was made for a woman to sing. So he declined.
& Months later, ....Mariah was #1.

mmm.... somewhat, ...but the song wasn't given to Brenda to sing, nor was it offered to her.
But it was in her hands.

I think the song coulda been done by George.
It wasnt THAT girly. It was just very...Motown-ish. I actually have him singing a peice of it from an interview I have.

: )
