Here's another one:

"Let's Wait Awhile" by Janet Jackson was followed up with "Someday Is Tonight," on the Rhythm Nation album. She did her own answer song. 😉

That was in response to the questions I kept asking her, she finally answered 😉

Back it up. That's my one and ONLY woman. 🙂

If I knew how to do it, I'd post our wedding picture. 😉

Hahaha!

that line kills me! :losmile

I had gone out one day and bought me a very, very sexy dress and when I opened up my closet it had disappeared... Lord, I hope the man is not wearing my... oooh child...

What you think you have, is not what you really have at all, because in my case, what I had, was not an entire whole man, but a fascimile thereof a man....

He wasn't a clone or nothin'!

Yeah "Another man" a real classsic there, but there was also an answer to it...it's a 12" called "another man is twice as nice" by Tout' sweet...also from 1983/84...

Hmmm...and what about the classic male rap 12" "Ya mama" by Wuf ticket on Prelude (1982), and the female answer "Ya dog/Ya pappa" by Clair...LOL...

There was also an answer to Dana Danes rap 12" "Nightmares" (profile rec's 1985)....called "Dr Slumber" can't remember the artist name right now...but i think it was Shadeen or something...
...i'm at work, so i can't dig in my records right now...LOL 🙂

BTW: There should be around 27 rap records (12 inches) regarding "the Roxanne story/saga"...

My favorite was "The Real Roxanne" from that saga and I had no idea about the answer to "Another Man." I may have to be on the hunt for that one even if it's only half as good as "Another Man." Now that's a classic!

And while I'm at it, Sweet p***y Pauline had two songs, one called "Sweet p***y Pauline," and one called "Hateful Head Helen," which was the sequal. Both were insanely profane but hilarious, but if you've ever heard anyone say "leave the coins on the dresser and hit the door," that's where it comes from.

I've all the Roxanne records written down somewhere...i'll see if i can find it, and post it later....😉

Was both songs by Sweet p***y Pauline on Cutting rec's ?...i've "Sweet p***y pauline"...on Cutting 12" 🙂

Honestly I'm not sure what label those Sweet p***y Pauline songs were on back then. I never had the original 12" but I downloaded them a few years ago. The original one is a classic. The acapella version is hilarious, and there are many mixes of both songs set to house beats.

"Big 'ol hateful NOTORIOUS club..."
