here's a new old poem I wrote
Foolish Love
Love is for fools
when you think they love you,
They up and leave you pretending to be cool.
You end up crying feeling blue,
Feeling cold like betrayal
wanting to plunge to death.
Thinking that in love you always fail
not telling, with secrets kept.
Mind pushing thoughts recalled,
wanting to be with them but about to fall.
Proof needed yet still your denied,
Needing someone to confide.
Being swept away by presence alone,
Confessing your love, but interrupted and left standing cold.
I wrote this after a relationship & beginning of another and kinda didn't know how to put it in words.
