Damn i think...
LOOSE TOUCH w/BAD OF THE HEART?
But, I'm beginning to be doubtful?

Actually...Loose Touch wasn't really a group.

It was George LaMond and and his dancers (The dancers were known as the Loose Touch dancers)...

Anyways, as we all know, "BAD OF THE HEART" was re-released a year later by Columbia/CBS with the artist credit going solely to George LaMond.

If Loose Touch was not the group, it was made to appear as it was the group as my 12" vinyl single (Ligosa records) indicates Loose Touch. My understanding is this was the name of the group. Just curious, where you got your info and not saying you are necessarily wrong.😉 😀

Mez,

I can't remember where or when I first heard this, but you are correct that the name "Loose Touch" implies that it was a group. Unliike a traditional "group", Loose Touch consisted of lead vocalist, George LaMond and his dancers.

Ligosa felt that the name Loose Touch sounded smoother as it made it sound like an actual group and not just a solo artist. When they shopped the song around and landed the deal with Columbia, they felt the exact opposite and decided to just use the name "George LaMond".

Thanks Rhoq: Well explained. 😉 🙂

GOOD SAVE RHOQ....

I TOO WAS UNDER THE SAME LOOSE TOUCH GROUP IMPRESSION.. AS I HAVE THE SAME LIGOSA RECORDS 12".. WITH THE RED, WHITE & BLUE LABEL...

YES JOEY KIDD WAS W/ THEM...AS WAS.. IF I AM CORRECT JASON TOMEY.. WHO SANG "CRY FOR LOVE" ON LIGOSA..( I HAVE THE 12').. THEN GEORGE PUT IT ON HIS SECOND ALBUM..
