This love i have for you,
Defies questioning or reason.
No, when...where,,,how much or why,
No Special time or season.
It's just there.
A constant in my life of confusion.
A constant that will never die,
Never need transfusion.
I don't know from when it sprung,
just how it came to be,
It just was...it just is...and will alwayz be.
To deny it - is futile,
To ignore it - impossible,
To wish away - a lie.
Acknowledgement and respect is the only offering it will accept.
And reward with a small measure of peace.
So I give up, I acquiesce, I concede
to a higher and greater need.
I breathe, I feel, I see, I touch, I bleed, I need...
