"It’s not often that a crime suspect actually begs to be caught in the act. But that’s the precarious position a young man found himself in on Monday after he got his arm caught in a car window while allegedly attempting to steal.
Quickly realizing his painful dilemma couldn’t be solved alone, he started screaming for help.
“He looked in the window and saw there was change in the middle console,” explains Det. Cst. Chris McCann. “He reached through the window, however, in his excitement I don’t think he realized how tight the window was, how tight the space was and he got his arm caught.”
“He was screaming for anybody in the immediate area to come help him,” he adds. “A few people actually heard him screaming and thusly the police came and saw him in his predicament.”
Adding insult to injury, police reveal that the doors to the vehicle were actually unlocked at the time. It all adds up to one red faced, and red handed misadventure for Jason Sampaio. He’s charged with attempted theft and fail to comply with a probation officer.
“This is kind of a humorous situation,” McCann admits, “ but I guess there is kind of a message that everyone needs to be careful.” "

can you believe that! he ended up on the evening news with his arm stuck in the car door. if i were him i'd just wear a mask or something for the rest of my life, couldnt stand that humiliation.
