live interview yesterday on hot 97 with both of them making up for some beef started with the whole battle between Nas and Jay z..it was very deep..give Nas much props for bringing it real for real..apologizing..to angie martinez..and she showing love ..you could hear in her voice how uncomfortable she was but she kept it going..live on the air no edits..its really hard to stay real in the rap game and not be political but she maintained..Nas had alot of good points and insight..and had alot of backup on why he felt betrayed but remained humble..much respect to Nas he won the battle but at no time bragged about burying Jay z who woke a giant who was sleeping..i like jay hovah but dont feel a need to go out and rush to cop his new cd but anything by Nas i gotta have..nd he really came across as a gentleman of respect and not a thug begging for respect or demanding it as is with most rap artist today..he kept it real as always and despite the fact that "the lost tapes" was not meant to be played on the air its stil selling hardcore.."{no commercial sellout)"as a matter of fact f*$*K Rocafella come up with some original shit and dont remake another tu pac song.. how many rappers today can claim that? .. ummm hardly none..and fat joe has just dropped the biggest album he has ever had..without PUN!!..not even a sample of the punisher!! big props to "THE DON" biggest infulence of boriqua on hip hop period..sorry but jigga aint my nigga ever!! while Nas is like what? always has been ..jigga tried to step and got smacked like a stepson..and pun RIP my hero Joe bought him into the game took latins to a serious level in rap but joe is carrying the torch still.BLAZING!! Jay z is kool and the gang just gotta step back and see Nas and joe are on a diferent level..original!!!!!trailblazing while hes just remixing..and also mad shouts to Eric Sermon (react).. the green eyed bandit..from my hometown EPMD has always been my favorite!!..Strong Island Brentwood!! boys from my hood!!..he just dropped his latest and sayin "im here.. yall thought i faded and now" so watchu sayin"?? without the "crossover" much respect to him!! again angie you were too cool despite the pressure and Nas despite the fact that you didnt have to apologize for sticking to yor stance you did thats "REAL" and just saying your "keeping it real" and actually doing it are two different things.. especially considering the fact that we all knew who was the victor in that battle..rocafella has to change the format if they want to be in the rap game for the next few years!! other wise there gonna hear thier "song cry" for real

I missed the interview which I sadly regret because above all I respect Nas he is a great artist and has provided the Hip-Hop industry with immence positivity with his prophetic insights. To be humble in such a hard game to make it in, is part of the challenge that Hip-Hop artist face and Nas has maintained that humble persono never falling into the same line of game that most have. He is orignal always has been and always will be. Taezee I like what you said as far as Jay waking a giant that was sleeping. So many people slept on Nas because he hadnt put anything out there but he proved everyone one wrong that all though he wasnt out on the front lines he was always there and came better then ever, and many are still sleeping because he isnt feeding them with the usuall lyrical rah rah that so many artist today are for his true fans he had nothing to prove it was just the iceing on the cake when he blew Jay out the box. We don't have to many humble peace loving artist on the scene and for Nas to have always maintained the way he is, is a true blessing. Wihtout having to he proved that to be on top you don't have to f*** around with remakes and rap about what everyone else is,he is his own man and expresses that with every lyrical verse spit. I have always been a big fan and will always continue to support all he does it dont get no realer. Jay Z is a very talented Mofo but he lacks originality where Nas gives us just that, both men got skills but I prefer the one who chooses to remain humble. I was blown away with Fat Joes Jeousonesenvy album because you could tell he put so much into it so I know this album has to be even hotter then that. I am proud to see one of my fellow latinos in the forefront keepin it gully and above all keepin it real the fact he is a Boriqua just makes me even prouder 🙂. EPMD dayummmmmmmmmmmmm much respect to Eric Sermon another artist so many have slept on but I guarantee he about to wake everyone up. As you said Nas and Joe are original and give it to us when we least expect it in an industry when your first hit could be your last they have proven they cant be stopped.
