i like Jasmine.. she's always shining... her smile lights up the room.. but vocally she's not in their range... she shouldn't be there...

this takes us all back to the first american idol when that girl got voted of... i forgot her name 🙁 she was very fashionable... hmmm thats when justin and kelly were left i think

I'm soooo pissed, Jasmine can not sing for her life!! LaToya was awesome. Did you see how Paula cried when Latoya got voted off. Jamins is one lucky girl she knows she shouldn't had won. Poor LaToya i can't get over that. I'm glad Diana is still in she is great too.

But ... Jasmine sucks! I can't phuckin believe that she's still there!! That was definately a bad choice! That's messed up, did you see when Paula was crying... :sosad

Though Latoya is gone from the competition, I'm sure a record label will pick her up anytime soon! She has a wonderful voice! Good Luck to Latoya ~ we'll be hearing from her again.
 
This was very reminiscent of the first season when Tamyra Gray got voted off and that awful Nikki McKibbin stayed. I think Idol somehow needs to change their voting standards. Because you have tons of teenagers voting and I think Jasmine appeals more to them than someone as classy and mature as Latoya. The fact that Jasmine was in the Top 2 last night and Latoya and Fantasia were in the bottom speaks volumes. Or maybe Idol needs to change the age limits on the show and up it by a few yrs from 16. Listen, Jasmine was a lot better than others in the Top 12 but no way does she still belong there. I am very disgusted with the show right now. Latoya should have made it at least to the Final 2!!! I do think she will go far though just like others did who didnt win. Right now Im almost starting to feel like I dont care who wins!!

i think they need to just get rid of the whole "america decides" shit and add a few more judges. let the judges decide. at least we know they would be judging on talent. there is no way jasmine deserves to be there and she knew it too. i would feel like an ass. i know its not her fault, but the girl knows latoya is 10 times better than her! ugh, if they don't change the voting, i won't be watching next season...if there even is a next season.
 
Shocking last night. I missed the performance show, but judging from what I've seen, LaToya is the best SINGER they had. Very sorry to see her go. Next week it's going to be Jasmine who gets voted off for sure, but I think Fantasia is going to take the competition. JMO.
 
Nothing would surprise me at this point. Even though all of us may think Jasmine should go, dont be surprised if she ends up winning the whole thing.

And Michelle...I agree with you. Let the judges pick the winner. They pick the Top 12 anyway, so let them pick a winner, as well. At least they have a better eye for talents than the teenyboopers who are voting!

The wrong person is gonna get voted voted American Idol. They had better vote Fantachia, if not, they are gonna vote someone in that is not gonna sell records. No offense, Justin(AI 1) will have sold more records that Diana or Jasmin combined if one of them get voted American idol.

Once again, I'm off the bandwagon.
 
Diana is much better then Fantasia in my opinion only because Fantasia's voice is too high-pitched for me.

i like diana also. i hope she wins it. i don't like fantasia and jasmine obviously is just not good enough. so, lets go diana!!
 
The first time I saw Diana I thought she was great. Then she fell down a little but in the last few weeks she has gotten tremendously better. I also like her better than Fantasia and I think she has more pop appeal than Fantasia does. However, Id still rather see Fantasia win over Jasmine! Jamsine looks like a very nice girl and her voice is ok but she is definitely not the one who should win!
