I have more of a reson to jump off the bandwagon. This season for some reason is not doing it for me. It just don't see all that exciting. There is not a singer who really catches the spotlight.

Does anybody else feel that AI is not really kicking the energy this year?

I'm not amazed by it anymore myself. I guess I out grew American Idol or it's just crappy now.
 
i tried not to watch it this season because i was afraid I'd get hooked on it like i was last year - but now whenever I watch new episodes of AI, I don't even get hooked because these people aren't as good as they were last year! so I agree on that lack of energy this season.
 
Are you kidding me?? I think this season is great! Soooo much better than last year! But the guys are much better than the girls. So far my faves are Anthony, Anwar, Bo, Nikko, Mario, and Carrie. But Anthony is the one Im really rooting for.

I'm not saying the singing is bad. I hated the voting last year. But it seems like the singers this year are above avg. It seems that this could be anybodys contest. I do see a little better talent on the mens side.
 
I've been watching it, i think the male singers are the best they had soo far, my fav from the males is Mario Vasquez, and Jessica Sierria from the girls.
 
I like it so far.

I like Mario and I like the little blonde guy with glasses (the little nerd looking one).

As far as girls are concerned, yeah, Jessica is good and I like Carrie too.

No real favorites though.

Anthony Federov... he's got a great voice.

My favs male singers .. are Scott, Anwar and Mario and the ladies; Nadia, Carrie and Jessica Sierra.
 
I think bacause last year had so much drama, controversey with the voting, sympothy votes for Readhead john and Jasmin, and LaToya, jenifer and Fantashia being favorites..and William Hung. This year seems like a down grade, because not much of that has happened, and the field seems so wide open.

Man I'm with you I LOVE this year The GUYS are AWESOME! The girls are so-so ....but gotta root for my Tampa girl Jessica S. My favs are Anwar, Bo Bice, Nikko, Mario, Jessica, Nadia Turner, and Carrie!
 
Last year was awful. The best singer was Latoya London and I still dont get how she got voted out before Jamsine and Diana. That was just wrong. But I have moved on lol I think there is some great talent this year, particularly the guys. Anthony (and he isnt a nerd 🙂 has such a beautful voice. I really hope he gets far. Of the girls, I think Carrie has the best voice with Jessica a close second. Nadia isnt bad but most of the oher girls arent too good. Did anyone see that girl jenay?? She is awful!

OMG JANAY BUTCHERED MY SONG BY SELENA! I was like EWWWWWWWWWWWW :barf She should have been voted off last week but damn she must have a huge FAMILY!

Jenay is downright AWFUL!!! And Travis is the worst of the guys. They both better go tonight! Jenay is the equivalent of Camille Velsaco last year..so bad, and you cant figure out how she made it this far!
