my company ADP hire alot of the immigrant workers thats where i getmy info by talkin g to them there is alot of young students who came here to get an education.

But, Imports are now building their cars here. Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, Honda and now Mercedes, BMW are building half or most of their cars here. The Imports want to have a huge piece of the market by saying most of their cars like The Camry, S500 are built here.

a guy like you works in gorgetown give me that point? thats cheesy point id expect from somebody who watches t v all day. thats becuase in the late 80's or so. the u.s. threaten to boycot or not allow alot of japaneese stuff in here if they werent made here?

remember saturn plant in tenn. or the nissan plants in goergia or in the south or where ever they are in the late 80's. that was part of that deal. it cost more to make em here.

but its better than looosing sales. making them here was part of the deal.

what we got is a big problem with a generation which dosnt wanna make anything anymore. look at the back of any tag?

more people would be employed if things were made here.

the powers that be got together 20 25 now 30 years ago. and said look. we wanna forget about making this the home base for building everything.

and what we wanna do its turn these people into locust. we want them buying everything.

in order to make a consumptionist economy they had to ship everything out over seas. so its cheap enuff for everybody to buy it.

but we screwed ourselves. cuase theres only so cheap we can make something? and the prices flat out.

and in the mean time. now we dont make anything llllllolll. lllollll

sending our fellow americans to work at call centers and strabucks print shops

and these rediculous service jobs that were married too now dont look now but India can do half of them from bengladash for half price.

So now were screwed twice.

And mean while the hungry beast china. said guess what We got everything now !!!!

and were using cash to prooove it.

the overall point is that our economy is dieing. 9 out of the last 15 years. thats a fact.
we dont make anything and when you dont make anything that means you have to be the best at servicing something. but when some body can do that service cheaper. then what do you do. thats what india is telling us right now.

they can program answer calls and all that crap for half price. so now what??? we shipped al our factory jobs to china. we dont wanna build houses we dont wanna build anything. and pretty soon all these jobs ( that were barely getting by with now )can be done by india?? so now what????


what we invent 10 more flavors to sell at Starbucks.? that will get us out of this??
come on man we goota go back to what made this place great. building things. and get these people off of their computers. and off there call centers and service offices where they spend the hole day pming and chatting. and servicing.

and get em making products for the 21 st century. cuase it wont be long

now before china and india or maybe no one will need our service?

then what do we do. we need to get back to making products.
 
yesterdays news wasa report tha companies are starting yto spend more money on plants and infrastructure the most in 5 years . that means more new jobs will be coming

now the only thing that will help this out is a tax cut now not another supply side just like we had (which i hate to say is starting to work) put a demand side just like JFK did
that tax cut gave a jump to the us economy that lasted till the oil crisis in the early to mid 70's something like 10+ yrs

I love my American cars!! Lets also simply realize that for the last 10 years most of American Car sales were SUV's. Ford and GM made most of their money of SUV's. Now there is a problem of high gas prices, there for many people are staying away from Surburbans and Expeditions and going for smaller SUV's like The Saturn Vue and Chevy Tracker(now Equnoix).
 
Notice how with each passing day china talks with less and less fear to us? notice how each passing day they grow in boldness.

today they blasted our congress. cuase they wanted to buy that crap in cash. in cash

18 billion. that shows you the economic might of china now. its is monolithic. its growing like the freeeking borg.

do you now the diferrence betwen a supply side and a demand side tax cut?

the supply side is what reagan and bush did corperations and they are starting to do what wasd hoped take that money and reinvest it in there companies to expand there production facilties now a demand side is when the worker gets a tax cut that means he or she will have money to spend
on the goods that these companies sell that puts more workers back to work they have money to spend and there you go.


btw i have acple of hundred chares of unical 😉
 
answer this if the govt takes lets say 50$ less out of you weekly pay check would would you do with that extra money. and guess what the local econimes will benefit because of the local sales taxes would bring in
