FREESTYLEMOM, COUNT ME IN, I THINK IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BRING BACK THE "NON-VIOLENT" FLAVA OF FREESTYLE PERFORMERS TO THE CLUB SCENES AGAIN. I AM FROM SOUTH JERSEY,"YES, ATLANTIC CITY", & THERE HAVEN'T BEEN ANY FREESTYLE EVENTS SINCE 2000 I BELEIVE, BUT ANY HOW I THINK YOUR PRESISTENCE IS BOTH POSITIVE & ENCOURAGING.

KEEPING IN MIND, NETWORKING AND COMMUNICATING WITH "CLUB*MUSIC SUPORTERS" RADIO STATIONS FROM PHILLY & JERSEY WILL HELP WITH THE MARKETING ASPECT OF THIS PROJECTED EVENT(S).

AS A LOYAL LISTENER OF FREESTYLE & OF MUSIC FROM THE 80'S & 90'S I FEEL THAT WE MUST CARRY ON WITH SUPPORTING FREESTYLE MUSIC SO THAT IT CAN CONTINUE TO FLOW WITH THE REST OF THE SOUNDS OF TODAY.

A FAVORITE DANCE RADIO STATION OF MINE DOWN HERE, WHICH HAS PLAYED SOME FREESTYLE SINCE IT AIRED HAS BEEN THE BUZZ 99.3 FM- ATLANTIC CITY,PLEASENTVILLE/104.5 FM-CAPEMAY, WILDWOOD. THEIR STATION TELEPHONE NUMBER IS: 609-348-5700, OR LOOK THEM UP IN A SOUTH JERESY PHONE BOOK.

HEY, A TRUE SUPPORTER OF ANY KIND SHOULD ALWAYS BE DECICATED, INFROMATIVE, AND MOTIVATED, RIGHT?

IF YOU'RE GOING TO NEED SOME ONE TO HELP COORDINATE WITH THIS HAPPENING(S) I'M AVAILABLE AS LONG AS I'M NOTIFIED IN A TIMLY MANNER. 🙂

ALWAYS MUSIC, ALWAYS FREESTYLE,

BRENDA

TO THOSE IN THE PHILLY AREA...

I'm glad that we have the support of DOS Records, Latin Nation, and Ashley.

They're the NEW SCHOOL, and if I can help it, they'll be there....

But WHERE IS THE OLD-SCHOOL?

I've e-mailed several artists and/or their managers about a possible show, etc. but no response from ANY of them thus far(I know that one of them is away and has not read it yet.)

It would be nice to have an Old School act perform in the Philly area, an area that saw the last significant freestyle event a year ago.

To all of those who posted about a Philly show, KEEP POSTING!!!

To the Old-school artists, these are YOUR FANS reaching out to you.

Patiently by the phone...

Hey Hiram, I e-mailed you but it came back, so I will call you later. I just saw the replies!.lol

UPDATE...

A quick update on our efforts to get a concert down in South Jersey/Philly area...

THANK YOU to all of the artists that have responded. Nyasia, I did receive your info and I tried to call you but the number I had (from your e-mail) was wrong. PRIMAX gave me the correct # so I will be calling you to touch base soon.

Although the budget is TIGHT, we may be able to pull something off. I've e-mailed the powers that be and suggested some acts to book, it is now up to THEM to decide. Also, I'm still waiting on a response from 3 artists. I hope they respond soon.

Whether we succeed or not, I will be caliing all of the interested artists to thank them individually for their interest.

Thanks also to Johnny Budz for all of his input and advice. For the longest time, I feel that HE has carried freestyle on his shoulders in NYC and I hope that he doesn't get discouraged by the imprudence and disrespect of certain elements within the industry.

Finally, Thank you to Primax, Dan, and everybody that has reached out in our quest to get this show going. If anybody else has thoughts or comments, my cel# is 609-713-4730.

Even if my attempts -w- Q102 fail, maybe we can do our OWN thing. I guess we'll see...

Much love and respect...

Hiram
