Well, MRS GWEDOKING, DJ JIGGLY, FREE-JACK, ANTHONY A, his wife & me all went to MIRAGE last night. Let me tell you....we had a blast! As we entered, I immediately was spotted by SCOTMAN (Alisha's manger) as we entered the door. Here was a quik rundown:

Alisha jumped on stage (LITERALLY!) AT 12AM. She immediatly got the crowd jumping and asked all those who wanted to dance to come to the front of the stage. She stared with "TOO TURNED ON" which stopped us in our tracks! Not only did she look beautiful onstage, but the voice that had come out of her mouth was so overwelming! She then went onto "BABY TALK". The hits kept coming! Finally, she performed "ALL NIGHT PASSION", the FREESTYLE ANTHEM! God, I remembered rollerskating to that song almost 2 decades earlier! what flashbacks we all had!!

That's awesome. I actually like Alisha's music and I can't wait to finally see her perform in the near future.

What is she doing at the moment? New album? More upcoming shows? Did she mention anything?

Francis.....STRONG ISLAND LABEL? Ohhh!!! Im afraid you might have gotten my topic confused with the label!

Many long islanders like to refer to long island as "strong island" sometimes.

The grouo "PUBLIC ENEMY" made the term famous. Bobby chose it as his labels name years later.

cArLiToS WaY, she only performed her hits from her first album. She performed for about 20 minutes but i wish it was for so much longer!!
 
I can't wait to see pics of her!!! how is she now?? i have her first album and I love her voice, wish she had more material and I wish there was more info on her!!!

All Night Alisha!!

First off thanks to the Gwedoking and his wife for the waterfront Bar B Q and for hookin me up...once again!! And of course to Scott for his hospitality and to Alisha for having us upstairs. It was great hanging with Brooklyn's own & one of the few artists who paved the way for Freestyle (spare me any debate..maybe later) at one of Long Islands most stunning clubs. She looked great and sounded even better. That voice of hers sounded just like the radio as she sang the lyrics with instrumental spinning only!! I had a great time as did we all!!

HEY GUIDO!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT W/ THE SHOW AT MIRAGE!!! AND THANKS ALSO TO JIGGLY JACK AND ANTHONY... IT WAS GREAT MEETING YOU GUYS AND ALISHA WAS SO THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT AS WELL....I'M SURE THAT WE'LL SEE YOU AT THE NEXT SHOW....TBA SOOOOOON!
