just wondering (cuz i just discovered this amazing track, yes call me 20 years late but oh well), is "all night passion" pretty much the same electro-funk category like freeze - AEIOU or jenny burton - i remember what you like? and could we call these songs freestyle or are they too electro? i don't care what freestyle song came first (we've discussed this to death, already), just wanna know if those 3 songs i mentioned are freestyle or strictly electro.

The definition of freestyle is elastic. Some people have a very wide definition and some have a very narrow definition. Some people will consider those songs freestyle and some won't.

For the record, I say it's freestyle. 🙂 (Or at least a sub-genre of freestyle)

LOL, guess no one else's really decisive about the genre thing. i'll just call it electro for now i guess, since it sounds too much like AEIOU which i already consider electro.

well there's a singer named shy rose...i've seen her categorized as italo-disco, yet i first heard her on a freestyle internet station, but to me she kinda has an electro-sound to some of her songs (i'm thinking here of that song called "cry for you", if anyones heard it 😉 )
