is this the new alexia phillips? i gotta admit she did really have a great voice for freestyle, but it sounds kinda cool & different. on rock beats. now i see she had a great rock-ish kinda voice hiding behind those funky planetfreestyle beats this entire time. she really changed her look too, i cant believe it took me this long to discover her. now i miss alexia..
 
yep thats her!! 🙂 but u know she made a freestyle comeback on planet freestyle compilation... so she didnt leave her f'style roots completely... altho whatever works for her is good...
 
there is a video clip for WITH OR WITHOUT U and I think Kathy Phillips is her backup singer there 🙂

i saw that video chica.. thats hilarious, so the phillips gang's rockin out on us now i see. good 4 them, i like their new sound its real soothing.

The whole Kathy Stratas project is over 3 years old and did not have the anticipated momentum although it did expand Alexia's audience and vocal potential. You definiteluy notice the improvement on her recent freestyle track "give me love" from the "return of panet freestyle" cd.

Ironically, Alexia Filipeos (aka Alexia Phillips) real first name is indeed Kathy!

In addition, I also picked up a childrens cd for my daughter who just turned 2. I figured it would be good for her to rock out in the car to.

To my amazement, I heard Fs versions of the songs and was like WTF, this is bomb!

When looking at the credits, it was produced by no other than Chris Philips.

Needless to say my daughter loves this cd. 🙂

Chris Phillips Rocks!!! He's an awesome guy and IMMENSELY talented musically.

I will have to agree with you on that. Way back in the day I use to take guitar lessons at his families music school. I remember Chris and Kathy when they were in their late teens. Both of them are awesome people. When Chris instructed me we spent the majority of the time talking about freestyle and clubs. Heck what else do your expect when you get 2 freestyle lovers together. Havent seen him for over a year now!
 
I had the chance to meet Chris when the "Return of Planet Freestyle" was taking place...you're right he's a really great guy...actually helped me find 3 cds I thought were impossible to find in Canada 🙂
