I really love the song Alabayes by Donna Williams. However, I would LOVE to know the lyrics...can anybody help me out here? Thanks 🙂

Is this the same lady that performed at the Freestyle Flashback concert a few years ago (2000) at Club Exit?

She had long blonde hair, was wearing a tight, black short dress, and looked about 40 years old. She only sang one track and I've been dying to know who that lady was.

You're too funny. "Alibis" is an English word. I'm not even sure if that's how you spell it. But it means something to the effect that "it's a valid story to find someone innocent that has been suspected of something".
 
LOL Carlito...I know the English word is spelled "Alibi"...but I could never understand why they spell it "Alabayes" on this song...so i thought maybe it was a Spanish word that meant somethign els.e.I was even looking for it in my Spanish dictionary lol Someone needs to find Donna Williams and ask her why the word is spelled that way LOL

Maybe it's the way it's pronounced??? Don't know, but some words are pronounced differently than they way they're written. It doesn't come from any spanish word that I know.
