How is it that after all this time
you still come into my mind
I still think about you every night
I see your face and hear your laughter
after all this time
I still think about you
if even for a moment
the thought carries me
and it leaves me in tears
after all this time
I wondered about us
fought the thoughts
begged them to stay
out of my head
Prayed that theyd go away
after all this time
I have been living without you
for so long
Breathing without you
for so long
How can you still live in me
after all this time
I see pieces of your face
sometimes your lips smiling
somtimes your eyes crying
other times I hear you trying
to change my mind
after all this time
and I just don't know why
After all this time
how can U still be a part of me
How can U still have a hold on me
Why can't I forget you
Why cant I regrett you

I wonder if you were my soul mate
and maybe I made a mistake
but after all this time
I can accept that all that is true
that I did love you
that my love was true
that you loved me that deeply too
