I have a chance to puchase sound forge 7.0 professional digital editing
software for $150.00.

I already have cool edit pro which cost me twice as much is it worth it?

I cant live with out my sound forge.. I got 6.0 right now. Which is pretty hot. Basically It does what acid does on a tight single track or wav file level If you want to clean up a sample or a vocal or a hit and make it into a loop or add effects to it before you bring it into another program its made kewl.. Basically its a prep tool to me. Sometimes if I made a mix I may bring it in there to tighten it up or add edits. Before i send it to CD architect. If you use acid its a plus cause it works directly with it. Then again I havent used cool edit pro Ive heard of it but havent used it. Download a demo and check out for yourself. I have heard so much though about 7.0 now that Sony bought out Sonic Foundry its going to do so much more now than ever. Its going to be a basis software for thier audio and video gear. Well I answered myself I guess...... get what you want Im getting an upgrade LOL thanks for costing me money

LOL.

YEAH COOL EDIT PRO COST ME ALMOST $350.

But sound forge is costing me 150 and that's with cd arch.
so far cool edit has never let me down but everyone I talk to is saying sound forge 7.0 is the new level. I got to try it.

Sound Forge is not that good to me.

Acid 4.0 pro and Wave Lab are what I use. So far I have no complains.

If you still gonna get Sound Forge pro....lemme know. You can dl the full version of it on download.com
and when you do download it.....I can give you the registration number. That way, you're not stuck with the trial version. You'll have the full pro version without any restrictions.

Well I love soundorge with Acid they are made for each other Literally...... but ya thats a good Idea download it but you'll only be able to down load 6.0. Sony has not made 7.0 available for trial download.
